How long until CJ comes back?

15 points from the bench tonight. This will continually bite us in the ass. Either we lose a big lead, like in our game against LA, or the other team will build a lead against us, like we saw tonight against Dallas. We can't always count on the starters to dig us out of a hole.

The starters did their thing tonight. Dame was amazing, Aldridge still put up really good numbers, and Nic was huge in the second half. RoLo had another solid double double. We need to improve the bench.

I thought our bench was going to be much better after the acquisitions over the summer, but I'm just not seeing it. Mo is a chucker, but not a very good one. Wright has been a disappointment. Robinson was our best bench player tonight. We need a scorer, and I don't know if we can wait for CJ to come back. They said supposedly December, but it's been weeks since we heard anything.

This is exactly what I say when people say CJ can change our bench. They don't listen. It's not going to happen overnight just with him.

Don't need a new bench. Need at least one consistent scorer off the bench. We don't have that right now. Mo is streaky and just horrible at promoting any kind of flow. At this point I'd really like to see Earl Watson and maybe give Crabbe some burn.

His end-of-gamer didn't compensate for his similar shot before it, a crazy prayer which missed. Then Mo tried something similar and looked the goat, trying to pull the team out of the ditch from Lillard's miss. Aldridge was mediocre in the 1st half, then got worse because Nowitzki got better when it counted. Lopez did great the first 3 quarters, not just solid.

McCollum won't help in his rookie year.

Yup. This was a team failure - really frustrating, but not something to dwell on.

I just think SOMETHING needs to be changed. Play Earl more. Play Crabbe more. Cut Mo's minutes a little bit. We need to shake things up on our bench.

No I am talking about CJ as a capable scorer off the bench. Even scoring 6-8 ppg will be a huge plus.

Starting this thread when we lost by only 2 points, playing like shit. Yes the bench played like shit tonight, but needing a bench and possibly losing our chemistry is ridiculous, especially when we have CJ coming back, plus t rob still is raw.

Our bench has no chemistry. There's a reason why the offense completely shuts down when the second unit is in there. Hell, maybe guys like Wright and Freeland would play a lot better with a real point guard on the second unit.
