My old neighbor would refuse to get his lot plowed when it snowed, he would stay up all night, in a snowstorm, driving around his property in his vehicle ‘patting down’ the snow with his tires. He’d do intricate paths to all the garages and outbuildings, and not just two wheels wide. He’d make a pass, move over a tire width and go again, then repeat until the tracks from left wheels met the ones from the right wheels, essentially making an entire two vehicle-wide patted down path. All night long around and around, chasing his tail while the snow filled in the passes he’d already made so he’d go back over them. It annoyed the fuck out of everyone with the sound of his truck and the headlights intermittently shining into their windows. He owned a tractor with a bucket too, which is crazy for him not to just use that. In the summer he’d piss everybody off with that tractor though, scraping the same gravel paths incessantly into the night.
