We obtained a TE from the Felton deal. ANything that is lopside becomes a TE to the team that traded a higher contract for.

Example: Lets say we traded a 12 million per player to a team well under cap. Let's say they give us a 2 million player in return. We would have a 10 million TE.

If he can handle the ball, he's an upgrade over Smith and Price, but hard to get excited about a player who shoots 31%. That's gotta be one of the lowest in the league.

I really doubt we'll pay him his QO next year of 3.35 mil. He'd have to really impress.

Solid pickup as we now have a backup that dribble the ball past midcourt. He was out with a knee injury last year so he fits our culture too!

Maynor was a very solid backup PG his first 2 years in the NBA.

His 3rd year he got hurt. Since coming back, he has not been close to what he was. His stats are terrible.

OKC has obviously given up on him regaining his form soon.

I like this deal as it gives Maynor a chance to reboot his career and get it back on track with a new team that can tolerate mistakes / poor play that a contender cannot.

I hope Maynor can find his game, and if he does we have the inside track on retaining a decent backup Point, which would be a godsend for next season.
