I just care about getting one of the top 4 seeds.

I have every right to celebrate where we are right now. FIRST PLACE, MOTHERFUCKERS!!!

We may not hold onto it over the next month, but we're here now so I'm going to enjoy it.

Sorry, since I was posting @ the Blazer forum, I was trying to see through the eyes of a Blazer fan :) It must feel great (but awkward) to be winning the division by half a game with a month left in the season

Didn't he say something similar the other day then you guys lost to Dallas ;)

It is a jinx :(.

Otherwise you are trash talking while you have a chance.....:blahblah:

As you should...you just shouldnt use that fact as reason POR is better than Utah....cause they arent

Yes, they are. The whole point is to win. The team with the better record is the better team.

In what way is Utah better than Portland? We beat all the great teams they beat. And we have a better point differential. Jazz have three current or former All Stars. We have 1. And yet, we have the better record. We've had injuries for all but one of our starters and we have held it together nonetheless because we are deep as fuck.

Did you just forget everything you just read in this thread? Or did you just not read it the first time?

False...So you are telling me in the east where CLE and BOS have traded the top seed several times that each time it switched the team on top is obviously the better team?

You are just gonna ignore the major handicaps Utah had to start the season  ....ok

We have less All Stars than Utah. And we have had a ton of injuries too. Rudy's been out twice. Blake was out for a few weeks. Oden's missed 19 games. Webster, who was primed to have a breakout season and probably be our #3 scorer, has been out the entire season. And our only All Star, Roy, missed about 4 games and without making excuses, we won two of them, beating Boston and Detroit. And Joel, who is our only available center at the moment, has been playing with a broken wrist for a couple months now.

Boozer, Okur, and Kirilenko have been all-stars, I don't consider any of them better than Aldridge.

I wonder what excuses you'll make for the now healthy "kicking ass" Utah Jazz as they continue to extend their losing streak tomorrow.

Boozer missed 45 games
Deron missed 14 games
Harpring missed 16 games
AK missed 15 games
Okur missed 9 games

POR injures this year are not even in the same ballpark as that

Webster has missed 65 games, more than any member of the Jazz. As a result, we have had to rely on a teenager from France who wasn't even expected to play this season.

Let's forget that they just played 3 OT's today, but if you call Boozer @ 80% healthy, sure they don't have any excuses to lose to one of the top teams in the NBA this year.

you know what shows me whether someone knows the game?

When someone compares how good a team is by saying well we beat this team by this much at home and you only beat them by this much. . .

Its obvious that you don't understand how the game works and really haven't played any kind of sport at a competetive level.

These are all professional athletes, trying to measure up how good a team is by comparing how much one team beat another team by or comparing a teams win vs. another teams loss is just silly.

That is of course unless your showing someone how silly their argument is by playing that card of course.

Oh no? Using your above research, the Jazz have lost 99 games to injury. But the Blazers have lost 104 games to injury:

Webster 65 games
Oden 19 games
Blake 13 games
Roy 4 games
Rudy 3 games

A total of 104 games. And those are all major rotation players.

Same ballpark + 5.

Learn the game, then post.

This is just sad...Theres that tunnel vision rearing its ugly head. Im not even gonna waste pointing out how you are wrong because i think its painfully obvious.

really...thats your argument back to me?

OOOOOO oh no! You are missing a 10/4 guy...wow, that is much worse than the Jazz

Webster would've been more than 10/4 guy this year. Look. Facts are facts. We have lost 104 games to injury (I'm obviously not including LaFrentz) and Utah has only lost 99.

Does anybody else see whats wrong with this quote? geez...

Sorta like how Oden was gonna be 20/10 right now according to you right?

It was COMPLETELY their fault that it went three overtimes. Did you watch the game? Utah played soooo stupidly. They had the ball, a 5 point lead, and 55 seconds left in regulation. All they had to do was run down the clock and look for a decent score. Even without a score there, the clock would be down to 31 secs. Instead, they inexplicably pushed the ball up the floor and got called for charging. Then, in overtime, they had an 8 point lead and coughed that up too. Utah had the game in its hands TWICE and totally blew it. If they're tired tomorrow, that's their fault.
