Alas, the heart and soul of our team has bad knees and a serious case of delusions of grandeur. Fortunately, we have a GM who understands this. Unfortunately, we don't have a PF who does.

Rolo was a great acquisition at $6M. Not a great retention at $13M. Wes was a great signing for the MLE. Not worth $15M while recovering from an achilles rupture. Letting both of them walk made financial sense.

But to answer your question, yes, you are the only who is stunned. I don't think it occurred to any of us to be stunned. Hell, this is the first I hearing that we're not keeping any of these players. What the hell?!? When did that happen? I'm speechless too. So speechless I can only type instead of talk.

Thank you for making me stunned. Once I get the feeling back in my body I will thank you.... or hump your leg. For some reason I now feel like drinking.

Matthews - pre-injury he was maybe worth his Sacramento deal. He's 29 and coming off an achilles tear.

Afflalo - Came in and stunk up the joint. Good riddance.

Aldridge - This one is on Neil. The risk was HUGE by letting him go into UFA with the roster not close to contending. Should've dealt him two years ago when he requested a trade.

Well, as Sly suggested, you may not have been reading the other threads then. Once it was mentioned that Wes was seeking $15M, and that there was a decent chance someone might give it to him, most assumed he wouldn't be back. As for Rolo, I myself posted more than once that bringing him back at an eight-figure salary would be irresponsible given his role on the team, and several others have said the same.

Sure, I would have loved to bring everyone back for another run, but anyone playing attention knew it simply wasn't going to happen. This really isn't a massive shock to anyone but you.
