The only teams with a winning mark against opponents above .500 are the Lakers (9-1), Celtics (6-1), Hornets (6-4), Cavaliers (5-3), Trail Blazers (7-5) and Nets (5-4).
I'm hoping that this edition of the Blazers won't "fade." We're very deep and we have great leadership in Brandon Roy. Not to mention that the worst part of our schedule is behind us. With more home games coming up, we should continue our great play into the foreseeable future.If we still have the NW division lead in late February then I'll start to get excited, but I remember last year when we took over number one in January and how we faded after that.

Very true. Hopefully those days are behind us.Just as long as we don't let down during the 'easy' part of the schedule. That has been a trend with the Blazers in the past too. Meet the tough challenge then not take care of games they should win.

Our schedule to come is pretty daunting:
@Boston
@Toronto
Orlando
@Utah
We could easily lose all 4, and be sitting at 13-10, and I wouldn't consider that fading.
OTOH, we could win all 4 and be sitting at 17-6, which would put us in the top tier of the league.
So, more drama ahead.
Go Blazers!!
If we win all 4 we would be 18-6 but we would be in the top tier in the league.

I like our chances in all of those games. Roy has a gleam in his eye this year that bodes well . . .Our schedule to come is pretty daunting:

More importantly, you don't suck anymore!
Interesting powerranking. I think it makes more sense than some I have seen, but I don't a few of them, like why the Pistons are so high.

Just wanted to fix that your ya!
The Blazers DID suck against the Celts tonight. Nobody came to play for Portland, and Boston played some tough D.
How long do you think it will be till the Bulls quit sucking?
The Nuggets almost concern me more than Utah. Utah, on paper, seems deeper to me. But Denver has played quite well since acquiring Billups, and I feel Denver has played a fairly tough schedule thus far. Of the three teams, Utah has probably had the easiest schedule.
Utah has missed significant time from Williams, Boozer and Okur, though. Even if they've had an easier schedule, assuming they're able to get to full strength I fear them much more than I do Denver.
