How many wide open shots does Curry need to get before we do something different
LOL TERRY YOURE SOOOOOOO BAD!!!!!!

Guys don't worry! Two years ago Stotts once thought about changing his defense but ultimately decided to keep it the same. After listening to his post game comments I'm sure he's not going to be a fucking stubborn dumb fuck and leave them open all series.

Seriously though, you can't make this shit up. He literally gave the best shooter of all-time wide open looks and got mad when called out on it? What the fuck did he think was going to happen?

I'm so pissed. Stotts has had his ass saved by Dame and CJ for 4 years now.

Second straight game that Dame played bad, glad CJ bailed him out in game 7 and glad this is just game 1.

I know everyone’s jumping on Stotts and I get it but theres a lot of blame to go around. It was literally about as bad as they have played all year and they did it on maybe the biggest stage they’ll get all year.

Dame, CJ, Aminu, Kanter, Zach, Seth all looked pretty terrible. No one was getting back on defense, we all know the scheme defensively was not working. How many times did Dame jump with the ball not knowing where he wanted to go with it. He has to know at this point you don't do that, I remember running drills as a junior high student to keep your dribble alive. I think its more and more obvious you cant play Harkless and Aminu at the same time very much there is just no spacing for Dame and CJ to do anything. GS was trapping Dame literally at half court and the Blazers didn't make them pay for it.

I was kind of encouraged though, they stayed competitive score wise most of the game even though GS was literally walking into easy shots, and Portland was playing awful.

Game two very well might be their season. If they don't have some adjustments and they cant get the turnovers down, this series might be over, but theres still basketball left.

I know this is a joke, but honestly if we are just going to let them walk into wide open threes we might as well just back off so our guards can save their energy by not having to fight through screens.

We couldn't make shots inches away from the rim...……..parallel fuck up. Collins, Kanter and Dame all faced the rim gods and ended up bad. WTF was Dame doing? He just kept penetrating the paint and getting his ass kicked. That entire horrid mess was horrible to witness. Thank God AXS TV had the doc on the Doobie Brothers to keep my spirits up. That game was good at 5-0 and the six point difference at the beginning of the fourth. IF WE made shots and defended we would only lose by single digits. Embarrassing event!!! Oh well. On to the next game.

All True……..THAT was a true FUBAR.

Welp, it's that time again. Let us all pray that Aminu and Harkless will become 3point masters.

Have not been a fan of small ball all year. You have to counter the opponent not match. Unfortunately despite the often positive results it's not on Terry's cards.
Certainly you cannot match when that is the other teams strongest suit. Force them out of their comfort zone and make them adjust to size.

Problem with that is the Blazers are hurting injury wise and two bigs are not eating. The other two are Meyers and a second year pup. Not to disrespect Collins but to put him in the fire and expect him to take over the WCF's is a stretch.

The Blazers will miss Nurkic more this series than last.

Thank god it only counts as one loss. In a game the home team was expected to win.

On the plus side, the Blazers problems in that game, and the changes they need to make, were so glaringly obvious that even Stevie Wonder could see it and know what to do differently.

Right?

Right???

Sure because no other team has had the same problems? Certainly not Houston right?
Losing to the champs in game one is tough but not the end of the series.

We have 3 more chances to steal one on their court.

And we will.

Curry-on-Curry violence. Seth punching for the heart--such a competitor!

Tough loss. A game, in my opinion we weren't supposed to win, in a series we shouldn't really win. Would like to have had a better showing though. I have a feeling these guys are just spent. I was very happy with what I saw from Zac and Rodney though. I say let's mix some shit up and start those 2.

I posted somewhere else in here, hurts, but I think it isn’t that far off.....

For Blazers games, I usually wait until the day before or day of if I wanna buy single game tickets. There is always a way to get a good deal to be had if you wait.

As of now, the cheapest seats in Portland are more expensive than the cheapest seats in Oakland. May just be the initial hype of going to a WCF for the first time in almost two decades. I would expect those prices to go down though, especially if we lose one or both the first two games in Oakland.
You should see the prices for home game three. Makes the first two home games look like bargains.

Blazers should absolutely be embarrassed by the opener....they stunk up the joint...they took the first game without much fight

One of the things that scares me is it seems like the fans and GS never really were that into it. It was that easy for them...

I'm so sick of the tired excuse. They were tired in games 4 and 5 versus Denver but then all of a sudden weren't in games 6 and 7 but now are tired again? If they hit a wall it wouldn't flow like that.

This loss was all about having a poor game with both offensive and defensive PnR.
