That would help, but the biggest factor is STOP TURNING THE BALL OVER
I love Dame, but no more penetration for a no-look pass. The Warriors are the only ones looking.

Jumping up to pass BEFORE locating someone to pass to, while triple teamed, should have ended sooner than that.I thought jumping up in the air to pass ended in high school. Apparently I was mistaken.
Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen Dame play that poorly. I suspect he HASN'T played that poorly since grade school.Jumping up to pass BEFORE locating someone to pass to, while triple teamed, should have ended sooner than that.
Yeah they need to make someone else beat them other than Curry.RE The poll: From the choices, I went with change the defensive schemes.

If the Blazers take care of the ball, play their normal game, and put more pressure on Curry, they have a decent chance of beating GS
Striking distance till the 2nd quarter. Then it was 9+ ahead from about then on. And partially realize that the bad shooting came from a good DUBS defense forcing bad shots and passes. If Dame and CJ can't hit, your team is in trouble. Guaranteed the DUBS crowd the paint again and force Dame and CJ to make bad passes again. The sky is not falling. We were within striking distance nearly the entire game even though we were shooting terribly and turning the ball over. When we lock in, GS is in trouble. We have them right where we want them!
6 at the 4th quarter but sure.Striking distance till the 2nd quarter. Then it was 9+ ahead from about then on. Yea he went off him but the problem doesn't know how Stotts like his big man to play defense. So actually Zach did exactly what he was supposed to do. Maybe Jackson needs go off on Stotts for having the big man play like that in his system.I would say yes, unless its a guy like Curry, or even Dame as we have seen. A 30 footer for Curry on a night like last night is a good shot. There has to be help behind you if you go above the screen. Curry is such a fast shooter that it takes him only a few seconds to get enough room to get free. That's what I saw him do in the 4th quarter in against Houston in game 6. I thought Houston did a pretty solid job on him, but he still made some of those shots.
If you give Klay or Steph 10 feet they are going to shoot and make it. That's what Zach did to Klay right when he checked in last night. I think it was Mark Jackson who went off on Zach about that.
That was surprising indeed. Also, our sucky bench scored 36 points. Cook and Jerebko buried a couple of 3's and Looney had a pretty good defensive game.
Yeah, you're welcome for the gobs of space we gave Cook, and for the absolutely shitty closeouts on Jerebko. Also, our sucky bench scored 36 points. Cook and Jerebko buried a couple of 3's and Looney had a pretty good defensive game.
I would rather start Layman and still bring Hood off the bench. Can we put up a "Stotts please don't play Harkless and Aminu together" billboard ?
Seriously, we need more offensive power to beat the traps. Hood has to start

Basically I knew they were cooked when in a span of 4-5 possessions CJ missed two lay ups, Kanter missed a couple layins and GS would get easy stuff on the other end. Even when they were only down 6 after 3 it did not feel good...I counted four or five lay-ins not contested that we missed in the first half alone.
Friendly reminder that the Warriors are better than the Nuggets and Thunder.Frendly reminder that we split the first two road games in both ur previous series

Awww Im sorry. Honestly feel terrible right now. This reminder was definitely not friendly
I didn't think either team played particularly well in game 1. I think GS played good defense, and got out in transition but both teams had a lot of areas they could be better. This is both good and bad news for the Blazers. The Blazers should be more rested now mentally and physically. I expect Kerr to keep running and gunning because the Blazers haven't had that much rest (especially after that long ass series with Denver including the OT's) and play the bench more once there's a decent lead. Also, is Dame hurt? His hamstring grabbing an issue?
Agreed. BUT...we also have to hope that GSW play as poorly as they did in G1. That was the game to steal, but when 25% of your possessions end in a turnover (and you only connect on 36% of your remaining possessions!) it's really hard to win.Steph and Klay going off didn't kill the Blazers. Aminu having a bad game didn't kill the Blazers. Dame and CJ having off games didn't kill the Blazers.
TURNOVERS KILLED THE BLAZERS IN GAME 1.
Take care of the ball, and everything else will fall into place.
