His overall numbers last year were close to his career averages. Projected out to 36 min, his FGA rate was up to 13.1 compared to a career av. of 12.1, which isn't indicative of some major switch in his style of play. Last year Steve Nash's FGA rate was up to 13.5 shots per 36 over his career av. of 12.5... is he still playing like a PG?Problem is, Miller doesn't really play like a PG anymore. He just dominates the ball and tries to score on his own. Witness his 52 point game. How many games did he have 15+ assists? Exactly.

Miller is the best option running the Blazer point since PIP, though thats not really saying much. Without being an outside threat he's obviously not the perfect fit beside Brandon, but the team was very effective with that pair in the 2nd half of the season. He's obviously not the longterm solution but he's smart, capable and extremely durable. Reports are he's in tremendous shape going into the season... if he's the weakest starting link I like the team's chances.
