I don’t want anything from the #7 pick other than trade value. It should be used to get a veteran player.

Excellent point, but no. I just don’t see the hype.Too white for you?
This is a really cool look, having Washington talk about Sharpe in practices. Premiered a few hours ago, so latest intel.
Dame in two years is not going to be as good as Dame today. And yet he'll be making more. You're not guaranteed to be fielding a more competitive team at that point even if Sochan or Sharpe or whoever pans out as a starter level player in two years.
Keep in mind Hart is expiring this year, so is Nas. Grant will get paid more, and Ant will as well. Maybe Sharpe/Sochan or whatever is good at that point, but is the team better if Dame is worse and we don't have Hart/Nas whoever we lose because of salary concerns?
I think you gotta take Murray there. Sharpe is the true darkhorse near the top of the board. I could see him being the best player out of this draft or a Simmons-esque headcase who fails. I voted Sharpe simply because I think he will be available there and rumors are his workouts have been amazing. I'd also be fine with Daniels there. Murray I would be outright stoked getting at 7. You can never have too many forwards. It sounds like Indy will take Daniels.
There was just a report that Detroit is “enamored” with Matherin
If that’s the case…does Keegan Murray fall?
What if it’s Murray and sharpe on the board?
Daniels, Sharpe, Sochan and I’m happy with the draft.
OG, Keegan, Mathurin… disappointment.
It’s not that I don’t like Keegan. I’m sure he’ll be better than some of the people I have ahead of him.You don't like Keegan?

I don’t like his potential. I think he’s a really safe pick. I don’t see him having the playmaking ability, ballhandling or shot creation to be a star.
Seems a lot more likely the Murray might be there at 7. If he is, I can see us taking him and keeping the pick.
Seemed pretty blasphemous to think Murray might drop to 7 since basically the draft lottery. Wonder what changed in the last few days.
I don’t think Winslow as your 8th best player is good at all. But to be fair, you don’t have an MLE signing in that rotation yet.Dame
Ant
Grant
Murray
Nurk
With Hart, Nas, and Winslow off the bench. That's an intriguing 8 man rotation. We'd need another center and another guard though.
If Murray is there, you trade down to get a Mathurin or Sharpe and hope you can get a 2023 1st or some other compensation with them.
BPA BABY!
Then Daniels could still be there, at which point I’d trade down for Daniels and get other draft compensation. If Murray is there, it's because Mathurin and Sharpe went above him.
There's a difference between being shy/introverted and not having a high BBIQ. It's possible to be shy and smart or shy and dumb. His agent did him no favors by allowing him to interview.@hoopsjock the kid is shy man. Watch this clip. Ty Ty said he was barely talking when he got to Kentucky. He's a shy teenager.
He said he's a home body, so I don't think we'd need to worry about this guy seeking the bright lights of a bigger city.
Just because someone isn’t great at articulating something doesn’t mean they’re dumb. There's a difference between being shy/introverted and not having a high BBIQ. It's possible to be shy and smart or shy and dumb. His agent did him no favors by allowing him to interview.
I would draft him over Keegan. Sochan is pretty high on my board. So you'd draft Sochan at 7 over Keegan assuming both are there and your other picks somehow aren't? I'm just curious what you think. Honestly, if Sochan is 6'9" or taller as rumored then he is a very intriguing pick.
Dame
Ant
Grant
Murray

Watch them play … no convincing needed if you have eyeballs.Convince me Sochan is closer to Draymond Green than James Johnson.
