What playoff team could most use Jerami Grant?

If there were a down vote I'd use it now. If this team tries to improve around Ayton, Grant and Simons it is destined for play-in losses at best. Look around at the rosters in this league. Your take makes no sense, by the time Scoot and Shaedon are playing their best Jerami will be declining and Ant is a horrible fit with both of our young guards. I like Deandre on this team and think we should hang onto him unless someone were to blow us out of the water with an offer for him. Honestly Jerami and Ant might not go but they most definitely should. Damn what a terrible post by you.

Do we have new assistant coaches?
not yet, but we're told to get excited for new assistant coaches. Even if it's the same assistant coaches that get bumped up a seat. I'm sure they'll hire someone. I heard Cronin has a nephew who is 4th place in his fantasy baseball league, and enjoys pickleball on the weekends.

I've seen a couple really good ones go to other teams. Jeff Van Gundy to clippers. Darvin Ham to the Bucks. Either of those guys would have been outstanding as assistant head coach for the Blazers. Are they just waiting to see what's left after every decent coach is hired?

I think the 2 obvious places are Dallas and Philly but for the Sixers we have to wait to see if they strike out on getting George to leave the Clips. Then you have the Mavs and the pieces that they might be willing to give up are not appealing since they are like Hardaway and stuff like that then factor in there picks will prolly all be 20 and lower. Also decided to play around with the T-Machine and they cannot even out right trade there picks since they have traded previous picks so Dallas unless a 3rd team got involved seems very unlikely.

Why would the Blazers care about high level assistant coaches?

They want to save cash with low cost assistants and get a high draft pick.

This guy is available at a reasonable price:

Lively doesn't make sense here - way more valuable to Dallas trying to win now. If Dallas had picks that would be a great possibility. Unfortunately they traded away close to all of their picks.
Anybody good "makes sense" for a team as shit as ours.

What about the Pacers? Seems like the one gap in their lineup is at forward. I had to look up that their starting SF is Aaron Nesmith, about whom I know literally nothing. Anyone know anything about him? Anyone interested in getting him back as part of a package for Grant? (Maybe get Jarace Walker in there?)

(If I'm honest, I looked up the Pacers because they have three second round picks this year, and there are so many intriguing players, including draft-and-stash guys that I'd honestly be super happy with five second-round picks this year.)

Then the Pacers could roll out:
Halliburton
Mathurin
Jerami
Siakam
Turner
That's a contender right there!

a 24-year-old SF at 6'6" 216 lbs. He impressed the hell out of me during the playoffs.

Now that Kings have agreed to terms with Monk (per Woj) I'd say Grant is a logical target for them

OK, so Detroit is not a playoff team, but as part of their overhaul they might want Jerami back, AND:

Jake Fisher of Yahoo Sports said:
the Detroit Pistons are evaluating the market for Isaiah Stewart, according to league sources.

We could use an enforcer...

Why? What does he potentially bring them that Barnes and Murray don't? I see their roster needs at SG and an athletic defensive Big

I really wanted Walker in the last draft and valued him at least as much as anyone else available at #3. Being so young (he turns 20 next September), I didn't expect him to play much last year and he didn't but he did flash some game. One year later you'd think the Pacers would have a pretty good idea of who they'd be giving up on. I doubt they'd part with him unless red flags were raised and/or the package coming back truly upgraded their current roster.

Grant = Huerter + Murray + 13
Huerter rehabbing left shoulder surgery. Murray on a better timeline. 13 is for SAC getting the best player. SAC is win-now and Grant provides that better. Murray is a solid to good starter.
Grant can be traded for a higher pick, but this one is doable and Murray was a high pick just 2 years ago. So there’s that.

13 + 14 to move up for a Top 10 pick.
