Batum: to build some strength. I don't think there is any mechanics he is really deficient in, just isn't strong enough to drive, take a hit and finish like I would like him to.

Aldridge: Strength, ball handling and more post moves. I think his game is pretty good so far. I would like him to protect the ball more. He tends to fumble when he's too far from the basket. I want him to develop better handles, so he can finish around the rim more.

Matthews: Ball handling and vet hold moves. I think he needs to find those trademark vet hold moves that won't be easy to spot. It helps to give help defense more time to get in position to help defensively. I want him to box out better so our guards can rebound more efficiently. Too many times we are beat by those long rebounds. We need to stop that immediately. His handles improved this season, but they are far from perfect.

Lillard: Knowing how to guide his man to the teeth of help, finishing, teardrop and lob passing. He is quick enough to beat his man, but if he has a floater, he would be so unstoppable. I'm not as concerned with his defense as many in here. I think knowing where the teeth of the help is, then forcing his man to go there is all we need. If he develops that lob, we would be unstoppable. Picture a younger, more athletic miller setting up the defense and lobbing it to lma and Leonard.

Leonard: Rebounding, defense, defense and defense. I know offensively he is still raw, but his current ability is still much better than a young pryzbilla. If his defense is anything close to pryzbilla, we would have that center we desperately need. He must be our last line of defense. Must rebound the ball and box out his man. He needs to be aware of the help and he needs to be the help.

Claver: Finishing, hitting the shot and pressure defense. I think claver is the biggest diamond I the rough. He already seems to have very good b ball iq, and just needs to score more so he isn't a liability on the offensive end.

Barton: Control, perimeter game and trap awareness. He has a lot of athletic ability. I think if he improves his outside shot, control and awareness, he would be an awesome bench player.

Maynor: Learn the system and trap defense. Maynor is quick enough to pressure the ball handler. I think this season, he didn't want to mess things up, so he was a little passive. If he gets a contract, I see huge improvements already. I think he will gamble more on the defensive end, but more importantly work on a game that works within our system.

Coaching staff: No rookie defensive coach, better defense and half court traps. It's embarrassing that our club was dead last protecting "in the paint" scoring. Some think its just the center, but a team can easily pick and roll on us, which puts our center out of position to help. We need a revamped defense. If we need to hire a defensive minded assistant coach, then do this ASAP. I love Caleb, but he is out of his league. I don't mind I'm still coaching, just not a position that's so important to this ball club.

Batum: Anything that will make him more aggressive. Maybe HCP needs to make him a half-hour highlight video of his best drives/dunks that he can watch on a loop.

Aldridge: Rebounding and help defense. Go play some 2-on-2 down at Rucker, and try to block every shot.

Matthews: Ball handling. He should be dribbling the ball all day long--during dinner, while brushing his teeth...whatever. That ball should never stop bouncing, even when he's asleep.

Lillard: Lateral quickness on D. He needs to be LA's partner at Rucker. Do everything he can to keep his man in front of him.

Leonard: Film study. The best thing he can do is understand where he's supposed to be on the court. Floor spacing, defensive rotations, rebounding position--all that "BBIQ" stuff.

Claver: Hang out with Batum and work on the same stuff. When they're not watching the Batum highlight vid, they should be on the court playing one-on-one.

Barton: Martial arts. Discipline, calm, and control. Dude needs to learn how to stay within himself, as well as improve his body control.

Maynor: Bombs away. Develop a killer outside shot, and he'd be a perfect backup PG.

I saw a video of Batum last summer working on the one thing he still needs to get better at, a pull up short range jumper. A pull up J in the lane should be automatic for this guy. He is not horrible at it, but he should be great at it.

If he masters that his scoring goes up dramatically. Maybe he has mastered it and just doesn't shoot it, but for a guy who shoots a 24 footer so effortlessly, you would think with his length he could get a 6-8' shot off anytime he wants. Just has Lillard does.

Wes has actually improved in this area, but Nic is the guy I want to see take more of these types of shots. The defenders run out at him all the time and he is able to get by them. If he is not willing/able to finish at the rim, then he needs to be deadly in the lane.
