Mental Health - Crisis Services
Washington County is requesting Letters of Interest (LOI) from qualified organizations to provide Crisis Intervention Services to residents of Washington County. These services include: Hawthorn Crisis Clinic Services, Law Enforcement Collaboration / Mental Health Response Team , Mobile Crisis Services, and Peer Support Services. Proposer must plan to provide all services to be awarded a contract. One provider contract will be awarded to provide all services. Total 5 year contract value is estimated at $31,000,000.

Crisis Intervention Services are supported through State General Funds and funds through Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) serving Washington County. The contract awarded through this process will begin January 1, 2022 and will be renewed annually through June 30, 2026 with contracts contingent on the availability of funds, continued need for the service relative to other community needs, and contract performance and compliance. Funds available for contracting in any given year may also change due to State Legislative action, funding priorities, or other system changes.

This looks like a positive thing.

Couple of great days here in Portland last week. Daughters soccer team had a car wash to raise money, then before I left town, the wife and I had a great day cruising and enjoyed lunch downtown.

Which high school, looks like Cleveland.
I went to Chapman grade school with a guy who's parents owned the White Stag sign seen in one of your photos and the White Stag company. I ran into him in New Jersey where he was my E-7 acting first sergeant. On a snowy, wintry day we were hitch hiking together and started talking. We didn't recognize each other because it was years later in the Army. Wow, what a coincidence. His family had sold the business and relocated to NY City. He reminded me of john Travolta in Welcome Back Kotter.

“i started that fire! if you try to put it out, im gonna shoot you!!!!”

city must be must perfect for civil servants to have to wear these….

portland should be sooooo proud.
Seems like all the changes over the last couple of years have improved the city tremendously!!

Had a great evening out with the wife. Tacovore up on Fremont. Check it out. Great vibes, excellent food. Love seeing the family’s back out for walks.

Went downtown to the Brazil Grill last night for Mrs PokerDog's birthday. I absolutely love downtown! It was great to see so many people out and about enjoying a lovely fall evening.

We were so stuffed from dinner we went for a walk. Ended up at a s'mores dessert place. They were really good.

It seems sooo crazy to me that some people are trying to portray an image that the city is just fine when this is going on.
Wouldnt that be a form of denial of sorts or trying to sweep the problems under the rug?

Or to put it another way, a sign of white privilege?

Hey, all is fine in my neighborhood or my hanging grounds so the city is just fine!!

its only in some parts of the city. Not the nice parts!

Talk about heads in the sand….

Every city is great if you hang in gentrified white yuppie hoods.

I'm not really interested in either dressing up as Batman and fighting crime or just hiding until all the bad things stop.

But supporting small businesses in the city and/or community I live in seems like a win/win to my dumb ass.

Supporting small businesses helps with the unemployment rate, tax revenue, and those things help the city in general.

And if that triggers some of you I'm sorry. I did just get done yelling at Mrs SPD for not getting shot on her birthday.

Maybe for next year, we can celebrate her birthday at a nice white-only Olive Garden in the suburbs.

You should only dine in neighborhoods with a high murder rate and/or infested with homeless. Raise them up!
