Sherwood is huge now. Bigger than Canby.

yeah. Nicest highschool ive ever seen. MUCH prettier than you!
My cousin lives on a hill due west of Sherwood. A beautiful property with a 360 degree view that he is very proud of. But because of that location/view, that brand new high school (biggest in the state) all by itself is costing him $2800 a year in property taxes……I don’t even want to know what the rest of his tax bill is. And I thought Wilsonville property taxes sucked…….

I will say it’s GOOD. My home value continues to go up. My kids won’t be in the market to buy a house for 10 years at the earliest.

But it is your home. Unless you are gonna sell it and move out to the Suburbs like the rest of us, it has no value other than being your home.

I hope it doesn't continue to go up for my kids sake. That is why i'm focusing on paying off my house and gonna buy another one. So they will always both have one.

We have talked about downsizing once our daughter leaves for college. But we would definitely stay in the same neighborhood. Unfortunately as of last summer, I don’t think we could even afford our house right now if we wanted to buy it. Anyway, good problems to have in such a horrible city.

Here’s what I’m talking about. Great old house from the 20s in our neighborhood. Hasn’t been updated or remodeled since looks like the 70s…..unfinished basement. Outside needs to be totally done. So basically every aspect of this house needs to be worked on and they want basically 1 million for it FAMS!
Imagine what it would be worth in a nice safe respectable city.

See what I found on #Zillow!

It is horse shit when people say we are a horrible city. We have our problems but so does every City.

Just walk through Memphis and New Orleans for a bit then get back to me FAMS.
The last time I was on Bourbon Street I saw people lying in the street and didn't know if they were dead or alive.
That place is something else.
