The likes prove who clique with who? You've seriously put far more thought into this than anyone else. Which post are you referring to exactly?

i have to apologize to you. It wasn't you. It was riverman. You pushed back but didnt like the post. Riverman pushed back but did. I just went and checked.
However i have a question for you, i rarely have anything to say to you but anytime i feel I'm defending myself against a few people here you always then chime in and have something to say. Why only then?

If you detest the community here so much, @Orion Bailey, why do you post here so regularly? I'm not saying you can't, I'm just asking why you do. If I hated a group of people as much as you seem to hate the people here, I certainly wouldn't constantly socialize with them online.

I get there are a few people here you like and have met in the real world, but have you noticed that the vast majority of your posts in this forum are angry, frustrated, disgusted or derisive? What's the appeal for you? Is this where you get your aggression and anger at the world out?

1. Personal insult.

2. Likes don't mean shit. Many including myself will like a post even if they disagree with you.

What was the personal insult? May i ask?

Just go back and and like all of his posts in this thread over the past couple of days.

just stop dude, seriously. What are you trying to accomplish?

we have had this conversation already..
Its not that i hate the community, its because the community hates me because i dont get among with their mascot.

No worries, I fixed it so it's no longer a personal insult.

wait. The word ignorant is an insult? The words means unknowing. So if i would have said he doesnt know or is aware of his behavior that is okay but using a word that means the same is not okay?

or is it an insult because i said it and you are taking sides here?

I would say calling someone, except me, ignorant is an insult.

Okay, if you say you have, I believe you. I guess then carry on your crusade of rage in this forum.
It seems like rage because its me responding to a gang of people. If so many people didnt pile up it would have been a couple comments and over.
Another thing people are ignorant o... sorry, unaware of around here....

I chimed in earlier today in regards to many of the posters on the board that post about Portland. You took offense and ran with it.
I've tried to engage many times with you and you tend to cut bait and run with an I'll have to look into that, and then it's on to the same shit later with no regards. It's an argumentative style mags always used to have as well. A conversation about A gets stretched into B, with a little of C, and then all of a sudden, it's never been about A. And the discussion can't be had without quips about ways you were wronged, and the bias of others.

You take this place way to personally, IMO. I've never met a single person in here. There's some whose posting styles I like, some I don't. I like posts for varying reasons, not because I'm in a clique with my gardener and a typing dog. I engage in a conversation I want to engage in, not just with specific posters.

Nobody here hates you. And, we get along just fine

so aRe you going to answer the question or apologize that you are unaware ignorant just means unaware?

But it doesn't JUST mean unaware.

Just like faggot doesn't JUST mean a pile of sticks.

Or bitch doesn't JUST mean a female dog.

honestly, i do not recall you every engaging with me without it being in the middle of a dispute with someone else, basically piling on. So i have never really taken you as impartial and have always had a vibe of bias from you from your first interaction.
You never interacted with me on your own, only in the midst of tension of which, to me, felt like you just piling on without being impartial.

im not saying you should or should have, just explaining why ive not been concerned with going back to point A with you.
if im wrong on that then that's on me, but thats how it has felt from the get go.

When talking about homeless populations increasing...40 million people lost their jobs over the last year....500,000 houses burned to the ground in Oregon this summer....and the weather is not as brutal in Oregon for homeless as it is further east or north....homelessness is a problem all over the planet...to point a finger at Portland is disingenuous ....you should see places where Syrian refugees landed in Germany....first glance, I have empathy for homeless people...especially those who are families and lost their livelyhood. Mental health issues also contribute to homelessness in cities that are more tolerant of the mentally disabled. Yeah...humanity has work to do...but let's make it an exclusively American partisan issue eh? Times are tough...tougher for some than others but that's no reason to want to erase them from the landscape without understanding how they got there

When you aRe publicly blamed for doing something you never did and it wont be publicly refuted and this accusation entails taking things outside of the forum, yeah i take it personal...
Especially after ive apologized and made several attempts to make things right for even potentially planting the idea for anyone else.

Yeah ive felt defensive and take it serious here because i regularly get the vibe people are now the way they are to me because of a false accusation that spread.

What gets said to me in private is not the same as what is said in public, so i trust very little and believe most here have it out for me because they think i did something i never did.

When you sweep the dirt under the rug it just piles up and comes back dirtier than ever.. but move on...

but see i never said it was a war zone. So why am i not able to defend myself when people say im bitching about how portland is when i post a link? Do you not see the complete double standard here.

When people post pictures trying to portray there isnt an issue in thier neighborhood, they are implying everything is fine in their world.

Then when someone counters thst bs half a dozen people get on the perosn calling the bs out. But then turn and say no lnes saying theee isnt a problem...
I get this echo chamber keeps some feeling safe and bold on here but its not reality..

“i can have my buddies back me up even when im being a hypocrite so i believe im right...”

and we will just remain silent when we are wrong and dismiss it and move on to the next point of contention i think i can get one up on with the other guy...

No, you didn't. I was speaking to the links that were shared about Portland being like Detroit. I think many were sharing their thoughts that its not that bad. It is bad. But, its not unsafe to walk around the city. I think there were misunderstandings and it seems to have gotten out of control a bit here. I am not here to be allegiant to any clique. All of RipCity two are my brethren and I dont like to see people spar over petty stuff. I am here to try and stir the conversation on a productive path. Never easy here because we all love to argue. The conversation often gets lost in the argument. We need to search for common ground even if we can't completely agree instead of trying to be right.
