I never take Haines street and I've never seen any vagrancy in Lake Oswego. I did take the Haines street exit once about six years ago just because I wondered if it was the same as when I was a little boy.

What HCP was talking about "Of course it hasn't always look like that. It's just funny to me that these grown men are going out of their way with their valuable time to google crime and shit in a major metropolitan city. I can do that to about where you guys live if I wanted to. It's no different than the racists asses on here who kept a thread going for years constantly searching for crimes committed by Mexicans Immigrants and would daily post the links and stories on here. I was blown away they let that thread continue."
 
Took the dog on a walk this morning....absolutely beautiful out. @THE HCP wasn't about to hide out in his house googling crimes. Out living life.

Exactly. And why siding with the police who are opposed to this kind of change is harmful and counterproductive.

I understand change is scary. But so is the idea of being shot by police or having my life ruined because a cop is having a bad day.

It's terrifying. Anybody they think might be too weak to fight back legally is at risk of this.
Specifically minorities and obviously poor people.

Camden, NJ is about the same size as Medford. So it would be nice to try this in a bigger city. I do think that Portland is a very good size for us to be a trial city.

Oregon is famous for adopting policies and laws that others have tried and had success with. We are just good at recognizing a good thing early on while letting someone else do the initial risk taking.
