I'd actually argue Billups is Walker's best chance at getting minutes. Coaches who lead their team to wins, rarely play a rookie taken with the 58th pick a lot of minutes.

Ah, but Chauncey is still trying to do so. I seriously do not think Chauncey is intentionally tanking. He's doing what he thinks will win games. That's what's so sad.

Fact is, this whole conversation is based on opinion. Nobody thinks Stotts or Billups are anywhere near as capable Dr Jack or Adelman were.

Like you, I would give them the nod due to their success... Back to my original point: Jack and Adelman had championship caliber rosters, no Blazer coach in 20 years has had one, so I'm not sure we can conclude what they would do with one. We've seen Paul Westhead and Rudy T win championships. Neither were great coaches in my opinion.

Let me explain how these work.

A. Someone thinks of something they want to talk about

B. They write about it and name the thread something. (In this case, “When should Chauncey be fired”)

C. Then we, as forum members scroll and see the thread titles available for us to discuss, or troll, or just to be a cunt, like you’ve chosen to do.

I haven’t counted, maybe Sly knows, but there are a bunch of other thread option for you to read, discuss, etc. if you don’t like this one. You see, as stated above, this thread is about our opinion on when Chauncey should get fired. Side note, it’s a brilliant thread title if indeed someone wanted to talk about Chauncey getting fired. So people are going to offer their opinions and maybe, like in my case, share opinions of people that aren’t in the forum.

Now I will be the first person to say that had this thread been about, oh I don’t know, having sex with an NBA player, my post would have been extremely random. But it happens to be about the actual subject matter

I was out at the graveyard, as I am most nights, and I decided to dig up Dr. Jack. He's in remarkably good shape, I think he's ready for another coaching run.
