Hey guys, just thought I'd tell everyone why I've not been as active recently. I've been really busy with my work lately, and have just recieved news of relocation because of a new case, and as a lead detective for it, I will have very little time to check in on the forum. The case is projected to remain open until early July, but could go on for much longer.

Thanks!

Memphis, Tennessee.

And thanks. :) Yes it is temp.

I hitch hiked in 74 from L.A. to Atlanta. When I arrived in Ft. Smith Arkansas, I jumped on a Greyhound, due to torrential storms. It was the smartest thing I did during that entire 5 month trip. Downtown Memphis, scared the piss out of me.

A couple years prior, the Memphis riots had resulted in half the sky scrapers or tall bldgs, being burned down or halfway down. It looked like a Gothic City, where I did not see one other white face, the entire time, but only saw a bunch of bars open, with rowdy rough crowds standing outside......

Waiting from midnight to 6am to jump on a bus to Birmingham.....scared shitless, even with a Bowie Knife strapped to my leg, and a 6 inch blade Buck Knife, with that 6 in blade & 6 inch handle, the Buck looked meaner than the Bowie......

Be careful and stay safe; B.......

...lived in Memphis (Millington) twice as a kid while Dad was stationed there...it's where I first learned to play ball and where I first became a Mantle/Yanx fan.
