I haven't noticed and I don't even know why people would attack me considering my view points aren't insane. People just over react on here like in society. Oh my god some kkk members, that must mean all white America is like this oh nooooooo. People don't get this is an extreme minority and a good fucking majority of Americans condemn this sort of behavior. Unfortunately like I said yesterday, the media and alt left, left in general is using this as a tool to further their lies they tell and influence. Saying this is how America really is and blah blah blah. It's really a terrible thing to put out there because a lot of misinformed people watch the news and then they repeat. So more black kids think every white person is racist and the white people continue to hate their own race talking about how sorry they are. What everybody could of done was give this minimal attention kinda like how we should do with antifa riots and move on. Every time though the alt right is always the victim or alt left. Nobody will ever come together, you guys stay divided because you can't just talk. Too much hate and assumptions.


By the way the only thing I said that was insulting was that casey holdahl was ugly and that was a joke but hey HCP can say these type of jokes without anybody giving a shit, when I say it, I am the worst person on the forum

because people love quoting me with some smart ass response in an insulting way but you don't edit their posts. I don't care but for you to say you don't selectively edit is outrageous. You do. People LOVE quoting me and replying with stupid shit that doesn't even address my point, it just makes fun of me. Difference is I don't have thin skin, it's just funny the people who don't agree with me don't have a point to counter mine, the instead rely on smart ass comments to try and shut me down

It's your history. You often come across as super abrasive to anyone who isn't just like you. I come across as a snarky douche, but at least I recognize that.

And I am not saying I have never said stupid shit because I have on here and apologized when I did. What's this whole look in the mirror thing? as if I just go around saying whatever I want. I know who I am. I know what my intentions are. Go back into any of my posts and EVERY time I make a point, people respond with some smart ass shit because people on here love to talk like they know things till they are hit with real factual information they can research themselves then they resort to child behavior. People on here really do want to be insulted so they can cry to the mods about it. They poke and poke at you until you say something stupid and then complain. However, I don't recall saying something stupid about anybody at all and as I said, if I did somebody post it and I will man up and apologize since it's that big of a deal.

Seriously, why do you make all of these generalizations to try and back your false arguments? The conversation in this thread has been very calm. No one in this thread has said all of American or all of the right is this or that.

And why do you continue to make this generalizations about the forum? There a many threads in the OT section that have nothing to do with politics or race and seem to ignore them or and participate. If you don't like the conversations and threads in an open off topic forum then post some things that you do want to talk about. It's pretty easy. I post science related things because that interests me, normally they only get one or two replies but I post them anyways.

Casey: Casey is a member of this forum and a friend within the Blazers of this forum. You did violate the personal insult rule by insulting him. And I should have deleted your post or at the very least changed so you were saying that I was ugly.

I have edited many of HCP's posts. But as you've noticed I don't go around and draw attention to it. HCP is always a tough case when it comes to moderating this forum, he has done some really cool things for this community, this that I hope he continues to do and that you take part in. Jokingly he claims to be a Laker fan, posts like that are guaranteed to elicit insults because... you know... the Lakers. People jokingly insult him for being a Laker fan (which any good Blazer fan should) and he insults them back. Most of his insults are generalizations about the forum membership. He calls everyone nerds. Calling everyone nerds is an insult but not a personal insult.

You know, if you want to show off that thick skin sometime, maybe one day consider not constantly complaining about being attacked or being the target of moderator abuse.

I find it interesting that the most thin-skinned people both boast about how thick their skin is and see no irony in bringing it up while they're busy complaining about how much they're targeted. "I have the skin of a rhino, which is fortunate because everyone is mean to me."

I don't deny I can come off as combative or aggressive but that's just how I am with opinions. I am not attacking anybody but I am stating my opinion, not that it's right or wrong. I don't claim to know everything. I have more to learn. I am 25. I already feel like I know quite a bit but there is always room for improvement. I am not perfect, who is? the issue with people talking on here is that context and tone matter in a conversation and I guarantee in person nobody would think these things of me. Because context and tone matter and if you heard how I said things and in what way I said them, nobody would be tripping about it. I am sure you aren't a douche in real life, I feel like I could reach common ground with mostly everybody on here minus rasta

I'm very open on how I edit posts for personal insults. 99% follow a format of "you are a....". If I see that and it's insulting I edit it so it says, "SlyPokerDog is a.... ." The other mods have full authority to edit or delete a personal insult as they see fit. They don't have to do like I do.

I don't edit for snarkyisms or smartassisms. Not sure how you would make a rule for that and I don't want a rule for that. There are very few rules here. Very few. The biggest and most violated is the personal insult rule.

If you think you've been or are being insulted you can always talk to me about it. I fully admit I miss insults all the time. If I miss one I have no problem apologizing and taking care of it.

I think I'm going to copyright snarkyisms.

HCP does what HCP wants. Some people here get away with what they want. There have been many people who don't get his whole act who have gotten mad about it, including me because he did personally insult me but back then you never edited or delete those posts. It is what it is, I am just saying, do your job across the board not just with select people.

Just for the record, @HCP used to be a lot worse with his rookie hazing. He's toned it down a lot.
Therefore he doesn't get special treatment, or get away with whatever he wants.

Wow you know nothing about Rhinos. Their skin is very sensitive, though it can be up to 5 cm thick.

We did talk privately about this. I did edit many of his posts.

It's not my job but if you would like to make it a job for me and pay me a salary I would love to talk to you about it.

And yes, many people get upset with HCP over how he treats new members. And I have talked to him many times privately about it. I have edited many of those posts.

I visit reddit, I have visited Clutchfans, and while not perfect our mods do a better job of moderating this forum then any forum I've seen. It will never be perfect but I don't think anyone is asking for perfection.

If you want to see what this forum would be like without the personal insult rule go read Clutchfans. The crap they said to and about Kingspeed is ridiculous. For the last two days we've had a Clutchfan member posting in our forum. I have yet to see one personal insult directed at him. That's actually pretty cool.

I guarantee that the two of us would get along like gangbusters in real life. You are correct in that. Tone and intent are much harder to ascertain in text than in real life. I guess I just had to speak my two cents about this, since you brought up possible unfair treatment and such. I don't really want to continue going into it with you, because I don't want to come across like I'm just lambasting you. I don't think that would be productive. I think sly has it handled from this point. Cheers. Maybe we'll drink a brew together in some bright future.
