And yes, many people get upset with HCP over how he treats new members. And I have talked to him many times privately about it. I have edited many of those posts.

I visit reddit, I have visited Clutchfans, and while not perfect our mods do a better job of moderating this forum then any forum I've seen. It will never be perfect but I don't think anyone is asking for perfection.

If you want to see what this forum would be like without the personal insult rule go read Clutchfans. The crap they said to and about Kingspeed is ridiculous. For the last two days we've had a Clutchfan member posting in our forum. I have yet to see one personal insult directed at him. That's actually pretty cool.

I think the mods have done a good job here. I don't think this place attracts the type of people who are used to being able to say what they want like children in other forums, I rarely see somebody get to that level. At the same time all the time I have been here it has felt like some members are just protected over others. I just don't like that, one bit. Sends a weird message to others.

Oh, I think the mods are fair enough. But you must know, there is a preferred way of the majority in this forum of what you should say. The mods are pretty much on that team, so you just need to know. It don't make it right or wrong. It just is.
It can be fun that way.

Actually it's pretty equal on people I would put on the left or right. Personal insults is more about just being rude than it is about political idiology.

I don't want to make a goddamn score sheet. I'd rather spend my time coming up with meet and greets and begging the Blazers for swag. Seriously, this is a great community of Blazer fans and I would rather focus and making it better instead of playing post cop.

The ironic part is the rally against hate will most likely be the most hypocritical thing ever. I mean, I hope not but going off the past, yeah this could be bad. I still don't know what there is to protest here or rally about, shit go over to where it's happening, people in Portland are just minding their own business
