I don't go to protests any more because I don't think they are very useful, but there have been ones in the past that meant a lot. Will this one? I will say there are a couple benefits that i do see. 1) it gathers people together to participate and have a voice. Community is very important as well as freedom of speech. This supports both I hope. 2) It shows the white supremacists that they are in the minority by a large amount. I guarantee there will be whites, blacks, hispanics, Muslims, Jews, Asians and much more all coming together at these rallies around the US. The Nazis were able to get 1500 of their clan together, but showing them that 1500 is minuscule is important. The ironic part is the rally against hate will most likely be the most hypocritical thing ever. I mean, I hope not but going off the past, yeah this could be bad. I still don't know what there is to protest here or rally about, shit go over to where it's happening, people in Portland are just minding their own business

However, if violence breaks out it can undue any positives that could come from these encounters.
Personal insults is more about just being rude than it is about political idiology.
I kinda wanna do a double act and just act like I am antifa and a nazi and just switch in between to fuck with everybodyLet's go and find out. I meet you at the Starbucks at Pioneer Courthouse Square. We'll team up and punch anyone burning a flag or doing a Nazi salute. (Actually you can punch and I'll use my white privilege and tell the cops they swung first. )
I don't want to make a goddamn score sheet. I'd rather spend my time coming up with meet and greets and begging the Blazers for swag. Seriously, this is a great community of Blazer fans and I would rather focus and making it better instead of playing post cop.
Excellent post Sly! Right down the middle. The essence of this thread is the politics of the day and rude is the tactics skill fully employed to force people to say the political right thing.
This whole thread is about impressing allies and shaming foes to avoid insults. Only insults not earned by rules of the game are edited.
Apparently not:Neo Nazi rallies don't disrespect this great nation.

I see what you are saying but I feel like majority of people already know that the supremacy rally was just wrong and those people are fucked up. I don't know, it just seems most protests these days are over nothing or odn't really prove anything because violence always ends up occuring plus I don't know what anybody is trying to say or prove. This community is more toxic than a CS:Go voice chat.
Still not as toxic as Clutchfans.
If I were in charge, I'd burn it all down for the insurance money.
was a joke. Then I'll just buy you a latte and send you on your way to have your fun. I have no interest in pretending to be part of either group of dipshits.
was a joke.
I doubt they do. I am glad they don't vote for Democrats, even though they are so few.Seriously, the KKK and neo Nazis should never have a voice in the republican party.

I may be on the more liberal side, but I have many friends who are Republicans and none of them are remotely pro KKK or Nazi. One good friend who was admittedly a Never-Trumper and historically a Republican has told me he's done with Republicans and will vote Libertarian or some other 3rd party from here on out. Still won't come over to the Dark Side (Liberal Side) but I'll keep trying. The only person that could be considered remotely on the side of the Nazis and other White group fucktards in this thread would be @Sinobas and all of the interactions with him were very civil.
There is nothing politically right to be said in this thread. The right thing is that hate groups on the left or right don't belong in our political process.
Seriously, the KKK and neo Nazis should never have a voice in the republican party.
It's what confuses me so much about all this support for Trump. He's not a conservative, he's not even a real Republican. He is offensive and stands for so many things that conservatives traditionally don't. But people have teams.

You really think that every KKK member and Neo Nazi in America showed up to Charlottesville yesterday?
You really gotta stop believing the stuff @Denny Crane posts.
I doubt it. Never said it either. Still, as few as they are, I am please they don't vote for Democrats.
He stands for so many things that conservatives traditionally don't.
I know.Same. They would mix badly at the secret Democratic voting booths where we have millions of undocumented immigrants vote.
You're post is welcome dumbass....post.This. So much this. There are some that are so skilled at fucking with someone yet not personally insulting them. I laugh every time and very much appreciate the effort.
Actually i think the vast majority of protests are non-violent. But the ones that aren't make the news.I see what you are saying but I feel like majority of people already know that the supremacy rally was just wrong and those people are fucked up. I was very pleased. It meant a lot.Look at how many elected republicans publicly denounced yesterday's bullshit and the hate groups behind it.
Whoa whoa whoa. I try not to say retarded. It is really hard round here.
I don't understand. It really means that much to you guys if an elected republican or democrat specifically denounces this kind of stuff? why? why do you care about these people when they are professional liars? why to make you feel good do you need people you never met to denounce something? it's confusing. Shouldn't it go without being said that a majority of people do denounce this behavior? you would have to be a real idiot to think that behavior is okayI was very pleased. It meant a lot.
