Well they all teamates and love each other both ET and MO and chief were all super close. Yea thats all cute and cuddly, but this pro soorts and all 3 of them sucked and were inder par. Both Dame and CJ will understand how much better they can get with upgraded auxiliary pieces around them

Chris Broussard (yeah, I know - he does not impress me, either) was on Colin Cowherd’s show talking NBA. They failed to mention Portland, until they finally said Portland had taken a step back in the West.

Cut to commercial. Woj was just breaking the Whiteside deal. They come back five minutes later, and suddenly Portland has now really improved themselves.

Love that he's expiring so we can trade him if he continues to be a headcase even around Dame. But the guy averaged a double-double and almost 2 blocks a game in just 23 minutes last year.

Could be huge if he's properly motivated... and since he's in a contract year I think he will be.

Olshey is on fire!

I just want to state that I really appreciate Jody Allen so far. This kind of move almost guarantees we will be in the tax again this year and everything Olshey has said about her being willing to spend money has been true so far. I think it really helped Olshey to have more freedom to make moves without having to get Paul's input too. That isn't a knock on Paul, he was a fantastic owner that we were lucky to have.

Even if you don't really like Whiteside or Bazemore, Olshey just got both of them for ET, Harkless, and Leonard WITHOUT having to attach any assets! Are you kidding me? They're both expiring deals too. If Nurk is healthy by the trade deadline we have a couple of big trade chips too for going after a Blake Griffin type. On top of all that we've improved this year while still having all the flexibility we started with next summer.

I'm so freaking stoked right now!
