For me it's a bigger shooting guard 6'5" or taller that can defend and shoot the three. You find that guy and he's ideal for Dame in the back court.
There are a lot of guys in the league that fit that description but Ant isn't one of them. Hart could be but then we'd need a different SF or a difference maker at C.
Hart works but then we need a bigger SF and for me Nurk isn't the best fit in Chauncey's system at C. So I think there needs to be multiple trades but Cronin has shown that he's up for doing that.We just looking for a name lol
So Zach LaVine then? For me it's a bigger shooting guard 6'5" or taller that can defend and shoot the three. You find that guy and he's ideal for Dame in the back court.

Dillion Brooks can both score and defend. He can swing the same way Hart can. If you had Payton, Hart & Brooks on this team along with Dame,Grant, & Nurk? There is enough scoring there to offset Simons but you improve your D big time, which is imo, the number one priority. For me it's a bigger shooting guard 6'5" or taller that can defend and shoot the three. Grant can play either forward spot. Get another quality forward who is more of a 4/5 and the pieces already here fit a lot better.Hart works but then we need a bigger SF.
If not for his very worrisome knee, he'd be sort of ideal. A better passer and defender than Dame, SG size, and vastly improved 3-point shooting. But if not for his very worrisome knee, he wouldn't be considered available, so...Whoever voted for Lonzo Ball should be tarred and feathered.
(It was me, I DID IT!!!)
DeRozan is only one year older than Dame.I'm sort of a fan of Caruso, too. DeRozan is too old and too ball-dominant, so I'll put him third out of the Bulls players, even though he's a season away from greatness.
They already have him. His name is Shaedon Sharp.
...for the opposing teamHis defense has been a pleasant surprise.
Could Shaedon Sharp become this? Impossible to know. Right now he's completely clueless at team defense and the other team always goes on a massive run when he checks in. Also, I just don't see the PG skills, like AT ALL.
Only downside: his points per 48 are in the single digits.Caruso. Period. One of the more underrated guys in the league IMO. Can match up with 1 thru 3 giving them even more flexibility on D. Good ballhander, great passer and good shooter. Another Hart type that checks a lot of boxes without being a heavy scorer. Tough, intelligent, unselfish, experienced but not old. I've wanted him since he was a Laker.
Almost sounds like another Steve Blake.Caruso. Period. One of the more underrated guys in the league IMO. Can match up with 1 thru 3 giving them even more flexibility on D. Wes was a poor man's Klay (or maybe Danny Green): great defense and could get piping hot from three, but very limited guard skills. Hart can play point in a pinch - Wes couldn't do that in his dreams.everyone's description here sounds like they're talking about wes matthews.
we have a reasonable facsimile to wes on our roster: josh hart.
