OT Who's the better point guard?

Could you imagine Stockton with athletic bigs like Griffin and Jordan. I mean obviously Malone was great, but a lot of that had to do with Stockton.

No idea really. Basketball isn't my forte. But I would like to see him take advantage of some of the rules that Nash was able to utilize. I mean it helped get the guy two consecutive MVPs.

Man... Did you just insinuate that Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan are better than or even as good as Karl Malone??



Regardless of the passes he got from Stockton, he still had to finish the play. Stockton owes as much as his career to Malone as Malone does to Stockton.

I'd say Griffin when healthy isn't too far off of Malone. Then you add in Jordan and easily that is a better big man combination, especially at finishing high % shots at the rim, than anything Stockton ever played with. The combination of Griffin/Jordan for a PG in the NBA is an embarrassment of riches.

Stockton played at a high level and was never hurt. Never. His steals and assists records are something that might not ever be broken in todays NBA where players break down early in their careers because they've been playing year round AAU ball at a young age.
