This is intriguing. The 3pt% drop for Pascal last year is really hurting his efficiency. But I would not have guessed Anderson shot 6 threes a game at that %.

I do think the Blazers need a more traditional pass first set the table point guard. Ant is more of a scoring PG like Lillard.

I doubt the Grizzlies would agree to that. I’d like it though. Dame/Powell/Nance/RoCo/Nurk with Brooks/Anderson bench would win it all.

Instead of Jones, wait until 10/16 (2 months after the wolves deal) and deal CJ for Anderson/Brooks/Juancho. Grizz have no interest in him.

If there is a way to turn CJ and Nurk into Ben Simmons then that would be our missing piece. A starting lineup of Dame, Norm, RoCo, Nance and Simmons would crush other teams. A rotation of Dame, Norm, RoCo, Nance, Simmons, Ant, Nas, Zeller and Snell would not be bad at all. We might be the best defense in the league. We might also still have one of the best offenses in the league.

Obviously Nurk would have to go to a third team bringing back an additional piece or pieces that make the deal work for Morey but I think that could happen. The other way is to trade CJ and RoCo for Simmons, which would hurt our shooting but we'd be even better on D and have a pretty powerful offense.

We’d have to remove lottery protection for this year to trade our 2024 pick but no worries because that lineup you cite would dominate. i traded Nas as well because that’s the ceiling of the trade I’d offer the Sixers. Id love to try it without giving up Nas obviously. I would definitely sign some big guys with our final slots like Bismack Biyombo.

Simmons for CJ is still my ideal trade. Simmons makes everyone around him better. He still has potential to improve his shooting (see Jason Kidd for a great example) defensively Dame would be our weakest player but our best offensive player. Defensively that team would be top 5

No, Smart is a win now player, just like Nurk and they're probably not a first round pick apart, closer to equal value. When looking at what the Celtics could give, they don't make a lot of sense to me as a third team because of the salaries they do have and some of the restrictions they have because of the moves they made recently.

I do think there are teams that would want Nurk that I'm not even thinking of that would have the right piece or pieces.
