That might be a good solution, but I think he, like many of us, use S2 as an escape from reality. And perhaps his escape was aggravating his reality too much.

Not saying it happened in this case, but the problem with forensically reconstructing these arguments is that posts have almost always been edited and/or deleted by the mods. Going back and trying to reconstruct those arguments often leads to an inaccurate account of what actually happened. For example, there is no public record of the time PapaG called my 12-year old daughter a whore. His post was deleted. So, most people never saw it and never will. But it happened, was totally uncalled for and crossed a line (and he didn't even get suspended for it, let alone banned).
You can try to blame others all you want, but the fact remains PapaG/BrantFan/Yoda of the Moda/NewsSource (and probably others I'm forgetting) has been banned, yet again for his inability to follow the forum rules. I am still posting under my original username, have never been suspended, let alone banned. He is responsible for his inability to control his behavior. He has proven time, and time again, he cannot. So, he broke the rules yet again and was banned yet again. He'll probably just register again under a new username and continue right where he left off. Lather, rinse, repeat...

Rather than blame others for his repeated bans, you may want to ask yourself what is the ONE common thing in those bans - his inability to change his behavior and play by the rules. He has constantly and consistently engaged in flame wars with many posters in this forum for years and been banned multiple times. His latest reinstatement came with very specific terms attached. He chose to violate those terms and was banned for it (yet again). It was his choice and his behavior that resulted in the ban, just like the time before, and the time before that, and...
