Why did we waive Pendergraph?

Seems to me that we could use him. I realize he suffered an injury, but it was one that can easily be re-habbed from. I think it was a mistake.

The real question is, why did Pritchard need to add gobs of Allen's money to the trade, to get Pendergraph for Sergio?

Every draft, Pritchard bought low picks with millions of dollars from the Allen advantage, and then drafted poorly, with the Oregonian indoctrinating us on how wonderful he was.
