I don't think I'm the only one who thought that the Suns had fallen apart. They tried to buy a championship by bringing in Durant and it backfired spectacularly after a finals appearance without him. And then they had to offload him for what seemed like a paltry haul. But they're kicking ass with basically Booker and a bunch of scrubs (including guys we gave away (Ighodaro, who I wanted and who started in their latest win). Where did they go right? (In fact, they're such a good story that nobody is pointing out that Maluach seems to be an even worse whiff than Yang.)

they've made moves that have worked out well. Not spectacularly well, but well enough to make a big difference

Dillon Brooks has kind of changed their identity. Mark Williams was a high risk trade that has worked well so far. Royce O'Neal was a low-key move at last year's trade deadline and has been a major contributor. And they got a giant steal by signing Collin Gillespie to a two-way deal last year and he has become a great backup PG who shoots over 40% on three's

all that after Grayson Allen has missed a dozen games and Jalen Green has only played two games

finally, Devin Booker somehow went from being a little overrated to a lot underrated in a 3 year stretch
