Let the real scientist chime in here. What they are presuming that homosexuality is acquired through genetic influences, and these can be environmental (chemical, biological, viral, etc.). By this rationale gay is a disease or a syndrome akin to autism. And since we are learning to control the epigenetics of some cancers, perhaps we can cure this gay disease someday. I'm not buying this, way too many examples of people choosing alternative lifestyles based purely on emotion. But this is great, next time ask a gay friend if they acquired this maladay or if they are just posing.

Now I'm happy debate science with a peer when you go find one to help you. I'll put my 3 degrees and 10 years at the Salk and another 15 in pharma/biotech up against anyone.
 
Bi's would be gay posers. Purely the emotional/lifestyle variety. Not the real afflicted epigenetic gay crowd. But the latter would qualify as disable and become a protected class. Interesting strategy.

I thought I ended this topic & proved my point in post #53 since it wasn't disputed. Time to put this to bed. If it were possibly I'd have it deleted.

so at birth, before you could talk, walk, or function on your own, you were able to stop and make a lifestyle choice of being heterosexual over homosexuality? is that what you are saying?

Why must it be a fight? God forbid people have different opinions. Now totus where I don't discredit your education out your experience in the field of science. Let me ask you a question. Had science come so far that they learned everything about the human DNA? Every part it and the vast mutations that had happened over the last 2 thousand years? Now about the issue of bisexual. ..i never stated that people cant choose im saying that not all gay people are just born hetero and decided one day let me try a penis instead of a vag

Judging by the NEW screen name you've created & decided to hide behind, it's easy to see now why you've been so sensitive & combative during this entire debate. You took this as a personal attack against your life style & that's not what it was. It was just shared opinions. Perhaps you should have the same courage as that football player. i believe you are mistaken. i have not been combative in any way. rather i have only asked you two questions. instead of answering the questions in my last reply you have referred to me as sensitive and combative, and said that this is a personal attack against my lifestyle. i am sorry if you think that i have come off as rude and i can assure you this is not an attack against my lifestyle. the only thing i did was ask questions, and they haven't been answered.
