What exactly does DeathSantis plan to do with the data collected on political leanings of students and teachers? Will students be expelled or teachers fired? Should there be an affirmative action program for conservatives? What if a student is admitted under this affirmative action and changes their views? Do they get expelled? Politics aren't a monolith. Many techies support legal abortion, marriage equality, teaching science and history, but also want tax cuts for the rich and oppose labor unions. Where do they fall in DeathSantis dichotomy?
Police have power of life and death and trend conservative. Should police be quizzed about their political views? Should there be affirmative action to recruit more liberal cops?
His biggest supporter never answers questions, just says meh or throws up bible quote or sexist insult.

You know, asking for the political leanings of people (as a requirement for anything) is basically the same as asking to see someones papers.

They all pleaded (except for Charlie) that after finding Jesus, they weren't the same anymore as the people who stabbed a pregnant woman and her unborn child to death....I'd think you'd remember that late term abortion that has had about 6 movies made over it and was the largest crime in your youth in the media....but hey....reality is, there's no such thing as being "born again"...in the adult world we just call that growing up. Denial is a bitch. If you think your unborn children were lives before being aborted then you owe back child support for 3 of the little ones and probably some compensation for the women who were traumatized over it. Even the AA has a 12 step program that requires making amends for your past.....that's the key to spiritual health.

All the abortions were during my late-teens(1) and 20's(2). My conversion to Jesus was when I was 32.

I don't care how old you were.....your religious conversion didn't change their history or situation but by saying this you're making it again about you and your youth, etc.....it's not about you...it's about your actions and response to those actions. As I said...it's growing up....if that took until you were 32...well you're a late bloomer. The Manson killers were teens as well. Also converted to Jesus as older adults..that's not a "get out of trouble free pass"

No, I had a super-natural conversion to Christ. Growing up had nothing to do with it.

This is part of my testimony. The operative word being "my". Nothing to add to, nor take away, from it. Period. To use a term crandc is familiar with, all the mansplaining in the world won't change a thing.

Saying you aren't responsible for BC behavior is mansplaining your impregnation of 3 unwilling mothers. The reason it is especially is you are so adamantly mansplaining anti abortion rhetoric yet cutting yourself a lot of slack in retrospect for contributing to the problem. It's called a double standard whether you think some "supernatural" intervention cleansed you of your past or not. This is exactly why you don't garner empathy for your so called new found conscience.

Financial support ....making amends. If you think those were live children...you owe those ladies support for the time they were in them and for the trauma of having abortions from being impregnated by you. Boots on the ground, you know! I paid support for my ex and our children for 28 years after divorcing....that's doing something about it. I only bring this up because of your lack of pro choice empathy.

The reality is, I respond to many in here on many fronts. My responses are pertinent within the context they were received. My Christian faith is a big part of my life. If you want to ridicule it, that's your prerogative. I see it as shallow, though.

I knew I should have used the green font...for the record Tim ...I'm not against your faith or your devotion to it...I'm against you using it as a political tool ...that's where we reach an impasse' ..but you know this...and I apologize for magnifying what i call the double standard but it needed to be addressed...as it is this will be my last post in this thread...I'll leave you to your tv viewing pleasure. Govt should protect the rights of ALL citizens and their faith or logical ethics...not just one segment of it..I'll leave you with that and you have a good life. DeSantis does not represent American values ..he's selectively biased towards one and only one element of it and your party is rotten through and through...fix your party with actual human empathy ..something your leaders have not shown they're capable of so far.
