Who's guarding the parents? Not you that's for sure! Teachers work their butts off to help kids get a head start on the life in front of them...hiding from reality about it is the coward's path. I know so many great teachers and parents that make your attempt to discredit them seem so out of touch with reality that it's actually sad. You seem to be pretty far removed from the single parents out there trying to raise kids and put food on the table. One would think your faith would ask you to be more understanding and less judgmental about our schools and the people who work there for a start. Teachers are dying in schools trying to protect the kids....don't see many real estate professionals doing that eh?
Clearly worried that teachers might actually teach kids that it is ok to be who they are, instead of a parental figure that might, say, send them to a conversion camp.

Again, we want to give the woman 100% rights what to do with her fetus. But......if said fetus ends up being born, the woman/mother becomes an instant moron and should naturally defer the training of her child to the state.

Parents are free to home school their children. They have that rightif they disagree with the education being offered. Or, they can join the school board and severely dumb down the education their and others' kids get because they're too scared of what their kids might learn.

I honestly don't care what "you" want to do. You don't speak for women or parents or their rights. You just said every mother after giving birth becomes a moron...what a shallow perspective and subserviant to some "state" Quit while you're drowning..bullshit has no shelf life.

Sounds good to me. Oh, and also give me a rebate on any said school-related taxes I may be getting charged.

The Bible isn't even anti-abortion. It's just a wedge issue the right wing has used to get the religious vote. You Christians fell off the fucking Christ train a long time ago.

You don't have to pay taxes...you can opt out and also lose the library, fire dept, police services, dept of transportation, as well as public schools for the children in your community..probably the sports fields, historical preservation sites and the ability to insure your property...which you should also stop paying tax on. Oh...and the pesky military budget and road maintenance crews..ambulances, it's a long list but you can become like the "Farm" in Tennessee and remove yourself from community services altogether. The idea that money is the kicker in your view for not supporting public education is very telling.Stay the hell out of our national parks while you're at it....my tax dollars support all those social services proudly...but not for you if you bitch about contributing. Walk the walk

HAHAHA! Nice, bro. Keep wailing away.

you confuse wailing with shooting fish in a bucket but I understand you didn't finish your education even though my taxes paid for it. You'll get no refund.

I don't need no stinkin' refund. Thanks, anyway.

You would be in support of an un or undereducated populace.

You like to "leave things at that" with comments that mean nothing and go nowhere, so I would expect nothing less.

Well, explain your comment, then.

Choosing to pull your tax dollars from education, which, if allowed, I imagine others would follow suit, single people, couples with no kids, people sending their kids to private schools, would result in our schools being underfunded, thus harming the education the children at public school are getting.

I want the right to appoint my education dollars how ever I choose. If our schools end up up being underfunded, is that my responsibility? If that's the case, then don't tie education dollars to property taxes.

It's not about you just like every other issue you have problems with. Start there. You don't have to pay taxes...you choose to pay taxes. Take it up with the IRS ...your responsibilities led to irresponsible results by your own admission. Work on that and let actual parenting parents support the school systems along with adults who value an educated population as neighbors coworkers and friends. You're out of touch with how many young parents don't have "education dollars" to appoint. Pretty classist statement by you.

Uhm, there are many parents who are fed up with the school systems as they know it.

Your pastor parent didn't guide you from dropping out of high school early on so your argument makes no sense. You're proof parents can't dictate what education provides. And you've probably bitched about teachers and schools since you were required to do homework. Gotcha. This led to your jr high school level education. You failed yourself, the school didn't fail you and your parents didn't save you from that choice. All of a sudden you seem empowered to dictate policy over this.
