I don't agree with Antifas stances, but the far right is definitely worse by a longshot.

Violent action as means to achieve it's goals such as lighting businesses on fire, looting, and destruction of property.

I am down with non violent forms of protest community organization, and political activism.

I am anti -fascist and anti -racist.

But, I believe there needs to be some system of government to keep some order, as there will otherwise be only chaos.

I agree with their assessment that government has become corrupted, is no longer truly of the people, and beholden to corporations.

Antifa is not all bad, and if you compare them to the far right, the right is clearly far worse. A anti fascist and anti racist movement that is against a government vs a group that is against people because of their sexual orientation, gender, sex, religion, ethnicity, etc. Not even a close call.

Antifa is only violent in self defense. Antifa is all about peace and tracking/opposing fascist groups and calling them out for what they are.

They aren't opposed to police, but want them defunded and rebuilt as problem solvers and peace keepers.

I think you're thinking of Anarchists, and I don't agree with them, either.

So the people that attacked police and burned shit and destroyed shit downtown were anarchists and not affiliated at all with Antifa?

Antifa preaches peace unless in self defense when attacked by fascist groups.
