I wouldn't be surprised if Wallace told Iavaroni and told him to play Miles for a little. He'll probably play 2 to 3 minutes.

Actually that is why I started the thread. I don't buy it . . . but some prior GM (I think) raised the issue and BNM put out a very thoughtful post on the issue. Again I don't buy it, but it made me think and watch the development of the Memphis game.

Personally I hope he plays the first 2 games (even gets signed for the rest of the year), Blazers announce they do not plan to take action and this story can slowly go away. I don't even care if it looks like Blazers have egg on their face . . . maybe it will divert the whole bully image.

When Cleveland gets up 100-75 with 1:46 left, then yes, we will see Darius dusted off the bench.

If it's inevitable (and not because I'm a heartless jerk), then I'd say the sooner the better. It would give the Blazers more leverage to appeal to the league to honor the medical retirement and keep his $$ off our cap.
