Denver in 6
Dang this place sure is negative?
This guy has called Denver in 6 like 10 times now?
We got people betting against the Blazers.
We got other telling us how much they have told us the team sucks like 20 times in the same thread.

You would think some positive vibes would do the team some good. Sure hope the players don't read this forum.

...it sure feels eerily similar to the other "gentlemen sweeps" :dunno:

c'mon man...it's just the reaction to 2 bad losses in a row. If you want positive, go read the game thread from the 1st game. People were plenty positive and talking about a sweep. It was loopy, over-the-top stuff, much like now

I don't think Portland will win the series....the roster flaws have never been addressed by the GM, and the coach is not an answer man. But, it's possible today will be the start of a 3 game win streak by the Blazers....just like it's possible the Blazers are in the process of losing their last 4 games in the playoffs for the 5th year in a row. Given recent history of this team, the latter seems more likely...that's where many are reacting from

personally, I don't believe Denver will be as hot from three today as game 3, or that Portland will be as cold. Just that might tilt the scale in Portland's favor

I said Denver in 6, 2 weeks ago.

Hey, that means he thinks we're going to win a game! He's positive!

I think there's a lot of overreacting going on (rightfully so). However, when you remove the emotion from it and look and how this series has went down, I think there's reason for optimism.

Even in G1's 14 point road win, I thought Portland played C+ basketball. We have not played our best basketball yet.

It took Denver shooting 53% from downtown on 20 made attempts, Austin Rivers hitting step-back 3's at an insane clip, and Portland not being able to throw it in the ocean from distance for the Nuggets to win by FIVE. G3 was a Best Case scenario for Denver and Worst Case scenario for Portland.

Don't get me wrong, there's plenty not to like about how Portland is playing. We aren't starting games strong, esp. on the defensive end of the floor. We're falling in love with the trey. We're rushing shots. And we're not communicating on defense.

I think all of that likely catches up to Portland should they advance. But for this series? Against this Denver team? There's still a great chance they prevail.

Should this have been a quick Blazers series win? Absolutely. But this team loves making it harder for themselves than it has to be.

Blazers in SIX.

(and yes, even if Portland advance, a coaching change is absolutely necessary)
Oh hey, Denver's 3-Pt shooting came back down to earth! And Portland attacked the rack in G4.

POSITIVE VIBES ONLY.

Blazers in SIX.

Looks like making adjustments works. Now is the hard part where we have to make in game adjustments/counter moves.

Whats funny to me, is just about everyone Ive talked to, and many of us on this board said Blazers in 6 or 7, sound reasonable still.

Sure, but then Denver makes adjustments to our adjustments. The problem is that our adjustments took two games.
Simple....if we shoot decent and they are not going nuts with three's we win.

Overreacting? Here? No way.

that’s a bold prediction.
Last time we beat the Nuggets by double digits they turned around and beat us two games in a row... which if repeated would end this series with Denver in 6 (you added the days and fishing part).

You are so chicken little. Oh my gosh, if we lose a bunch of games then we'll be out, lol! How about if we win a couple games, we'll advance!

I was making a joke about his constant post since he wasn't specific enough. Though during the Dame era, when the team has won 2 games they win the series. For some reason win they lose a series is goes horrible, oh the irony.
