You get predictions wrong all the time but you'll never own up to them. Then you want to say others are out of touch with reality because of their predictions. The blatant hypocrisy and your lack of awareness of it makes me wonder if you are.
This. The lack of ownership for being wrong from the same people who call out other fans regularly for their opinions on how good the team is makes this place tough to hang out in regularly.
To call anyone who has sought out this site to discuss the Blazers a bad fan for their opinions, is extremely self centered.
it really is a dying skill... the ability for people to maintain fact from opinion and not push an opinion as fact.
23 wins
60 wins
we wont win another game
We are built to win it all
Small sample sizes are still factual
Small sample sizes skew reality
all teams incur injuries, its a wash aNd doesnt matter.
Blazers have not been healthy for one full season since Dame arrived.
is there not any room for some middle ground?
(Funny. I find myself asking the same question in the political arena as well.)
Anyhow, this thread is legit. After game three i thought the same. Were done.
Now i think we can pull it out.
Emotions are just that. Emotions. Not facts. What would we all be if not for emotions? Robots???
This thread is entertaining....
and to toss a bit of gas on the fire, some might consider a blind faithful a bad fan as well. Never admitting the team has holes or areas of need for improvement, leaves the team in a treadmill situation, never getting better.
So who really is the better fan? The rose glass fan who believes all is perfect and we are fine as is, or the pessimistic fan, constantly pointing out areas of inefficiency and a need for improvement?
Which mentality, if the team were to follow, would one think will have a better chance of winning it all?
its why many successful people are not completely happy. They are wired to see the faults and successfull people fix those faults.
Now, which type of person is Stotts and Olshey?
This should be the point of discussion. Not calling out fellow fans, regardless of stance. Stop tryin to tear each other down. We are all in the same Blazer Boat of fandom.
