I think losing this series is the best possible outcome for this team. It clears the way for Stotts to leave and hopefully some pretty significant trades to shake things up.

40 members voted we would win another game this series....9 voted we wouldn't.....realistically it's 9 fans who doubt the teams ability to win and 40 who don't .....I'd guess those 9 fans are still talking about the Pelican series years ago as well...the Roco, Norman Powell pieces to our starting lineup are why I believe we can beat anybody. Realistically Stotts haters are banking on failure to achieve that old "I told you so" feeling.....I expect to win each game we face and accept when we don't ...that's based in reality. Reality is our coach of the month just coached a blowout against the MVP candidate when Dame couldn't throw a basketball in the ocean. We can beat anybody in this league as constructed if we execute.

I'm generally pessimistic about the roster construction and the chances for this team to contend. But I still picked the Blazers to win in 6 because I believed the Denver injuries are just too much for them to overcome. Nuggets were the perfect 1st round match-up for this Blazer team

now, I'm leaning toward this series tracking the path of the 2019 series. Denver takes a 3-2 lead; Portland wins game 6, and then a game 7 in Denver

on the other hand, the pressure on Denver will be enormous in game 5 and they have to rely on Porter to have a great game. He could be too young for that kind of burden. Jokic vs Nurkic; Porter vs Powell; Campazzo vs Dame....looks like Portland has the edge in critical matchups

Actually, I wish you and and a few others here would keep it zipped until it ends however it ends. You might get pleasure out of being a downer but it sucks for the rest of us who believe in the team/try to keep it all in perspective. I just want to enjoy being in the playoffs after an otherwise fucked up and discombobulated past year. I look for my pleasures where I can find them….and try to appreciate them while I can. Yeah, I can quit reading forum posts if it bothers me, just as you can quit posting if the Blazers bother you so much. So how ‘bout we do each other (and a lot of other folks) a favor and just enjoy it while we can? We’ll have the entire summer to whine, cry and go at each other’s throats if and when it all goes south. I just don’t get rooting for your team to lose under ANY circumstances. They still have at least 2 games yet to play…….

Because watching us treadmill isn't enjoyable. We know how it ends. Having a team that isn't contending isn't what bothers me. It's having a team that isn't contending and doesn't seem to want to make any significant changes to improve our shot at contending. Switching around the upholstery or the paint color doesn't make the car run better. You have to either improve the engine or change the driver. But I'm not going to stop posting just because it bothers you.

I think that this series, with Murray, Barton and Dozier all sidelined, should go to the Blazers. The Joker is still a wildcard who could flip it to the Nuggets, but he has to be on top of his game and get Nurk in foul trouble. If Nurk can do anything close to what he did yesterday, the Nuggets are toast.

Support my team and the coach during the season, dont bail, and never say one way or the other about finals. I played alot of ball, and its usually all for one one for all during season if there needs to be change it should happen after season, or via trades or FA signing. Draft are like growth investments unless there is a super star in waiting and you have a top pick. We traded Wallace and his first season with the Pistons they win a cship. We traded Jermain and he became a HOF'er.

You’re out of touch with reality. You thought 3-9 to close season was realistic outcome when 10-2 was the actual reality. We absolutely can win the championship this season. There’s no clear favorite right now.

The front office biggest concern was the defense while by stats it's improve when Nurk got fully heathy and Powell finally got use to playing here. Going 10-2 at the end and not winding up in play-in helps a lot. Getting in playoffs 8 straight times helps a lot. Now offense a lot you guys don't like but was 2nd this season so it's don't matter how predictable it is the other teams still can't stop it. Oh yeah, if Stotts gets wins in the second round but we lose; the organization will probably just keep him... it will be a mistake and it will be unprecedented longevity in the face of mediocrity but they'll probably do it. If we don't beat these Nuggets, I think they'll have a press conference announcing him stepping down within two weeks of our last game. I do not think they'll extend him unless we somehow get to the WCF and win some games.

There is only one kind of fan on this site that feels like they get to define who are and who are not fans. And for some reason they're completely consumed with what other fans think about the team.
