If you Told that to Dame Lillard he'd laugh at ya and shake his head. Then he'd call ya a loser! lol its true thoughI think losing this series is the best possible outcome for this team. It clears the way for Stotts to leave and hopefully some pretty significant trades to shake things up.
So you’d rather lose than win a ring??? Getting rid of Stotts is a higher priority than a championship?? This is the kind of “fandom” that needs to stay home. Jeezus, let it all play out before having a meltdown. Stotts owns a shit ton of real estate in too many SC2 heads, making him one of the biggest land owners in the state. But hoping the team loses just so they’ll get rid a the coach and a few lightning rod players is disturbing……and just plain wrong. You might as well just join the Lakers bandwagon.I think losing this series is the best possible outcome for this team. You really think this team is going to win a championship the way it’s currently set up? Did you want me to say the best REALISTIC outcome? So you’d rather lose than win a ring??? I was totally with you in this post, until the end.So you’d rather lose than win a ring??? Getting rid of Stotts is a higher priority than a championship?? 40 members voted we would win another game this series....9 voted we wouldn't.....realistically it's 9 fans who doubt the teams ability to win and 40 who don't .....I'd guess those 9 fans are still talking about the Pelican series years ago as well...the Roco, Norman Powell pieces to our starting lineup are why I believe we can beat anybody. Realistically Stotts haters are banking on failure to achieve that old "I told you so" feeling.....I expect to win each game we face and accept when we don't ...that's based in reality. Reality is our coach of the month just coached a blowout against the MVP candidate when Dame couldn't throw a basketball in the ocean. We can beat anybody in this league as constructed if we execute.Or, and hear me out, fans are being realistic towards what this team is going to accomplish this year?
“Fans” is short for fanatics. Fanatics are not, by definition “realistic”. If you believe in being “realistic”, quit watching the games. simple as that.Or, and hear me out, fans are being realistic towards what this team is going to accomplish this year?

I wasn’t even in the thread last night. Maybe that was you posting love letters on Reddit?Actually, I wish you and the rest of the Negative Nancies would keep it zipped until it ends however it ends. You might get pleasure out of being a downer but it sucks for the rest of us who believe in the team/try to keep it all in perspective. I just want to enjoy being in the playoffs after an otherwise fucked up and discombobulated past year. I look for my pleasures where I can findthem….and try to appreciate them while I can. You and the other “fans” suck the joy right out of the game with the constantnegativity. I took a quick peek at the game thread while the Blazers were up by 30 and thought I had wandered into a Denverfanboys site. Disgusting.
What ever happened to "Take me out to the Ball Game" spirit. Its an NBA game that is built around FANtastic where the game supposed to be enjoyed with family and friends! WIN or lOSE
There can be a middle ground as a fan and supporter of the team.
If everyone would put their GM mask's away and just enjoy the game and playoffs it would be therapeutic in a positive way. WIN or LOSE
Because you ruin it for the rest of us (you and Trappani or whatever Tunchi calls himself these days). What is so hard to understand about that?? We don’t share your negativity and have no desire to. Yeah, I can quit reading forum posts if it bothers me, just as you can quit posting if the Blazers bother you so much. So how ‘bout we do each other (and a lot of other folks) a favor and just enjoy it while we can? We’ll have the entire summer to whine, cry and go at each other’s throats if and when it all goes south. I just don’t get rooting for your team to lose under ANY circumstances. They still have at least 2 games yet to play…….People experience hobbies in different ways. I don't know why this bothers some of you so much. Why do you care how others experience the NBA?
The negativity just gets old. Ever been around a person that was habitually negative and always tried to prove something wrong, gets old.People experience hobbies in different ways. I don't know why this bothers some of you so much. Why do you care how others experience the NBA?

Nor will I quit calling out the constant negativity because it bothers you…..or anyone else. But I genuinely find it more than funny that you make statements such as;Because watching us treadmill isn't enjoyable. We know how it ends. Having a team that isn't contending isn't what bothers me. It's having a team that isn't contending and doesn't seem to want to make any significant changes to improve our shot at contending. Switching around the upholstery or the paint color doesn't make the car run better. You have to either improve the engine or change the driver. But I'm not going to stop posting just because it bothers you.
Is anybody else like @THE HCP .......one who suppports their team and coach regardless? Doesn’t bail on em when we lose or think we are heading directly to the finals after a couple wins.......AND PREDICTS THAT WE WILL LOSE TO DENVER IN 6 ??!!??

Support my team and the coach during the season, dont bail, and never say one way or the other about finals. I played alot of ball, and its usually all for one one for all during season if there needs to be change it should happen after season, or via trades or FA signing. Draft are like growth investments unless there is a super star in waiting and you have a top pick. We traded Wallace and his first season with the Pistons they win a cship. We traded Jermain and he became a HOF'er.Is anybody else like @THE HCP .......one who suppports their team and coach regardless? But you’re the guy who teed off on us (fans ourselves) for our “blind loyalty” because our opinions run counter to yours and it really jacks you off,
You’re out of touch with reality. You thought 3-9 to close season was realistic outcome when 10-2 was the actual reality. We absolutely can win the championship this season. There’s no clear favorite right now.You really think this team is going to win a championship the way it’s currently set up? Did you want me to say the best REALISTIC outcome?
Jermaine is not a HOFer lol.Support my team and the coach during the season, dont bail, and never say one way or the other about finals. Even better than 50/50 if he wins this series vs Denver and goes 6 or 7 games in the second round.I hate to put a damper your hopes Stotts get fire but I think he has 50-50 chance being back. The front office biggest concern was the defense while by stats it's improve when Nurk got fully heathy and Powell finally got use to playing here. Going 10-2 at the end and not winding up in play-in helps a lot. Getting in playoffs 8 straight times helps a lot. Now offense a lot you guys don't like but was 2nd this season so it's don't matter how predictable it is the other teams still can't stop it. Believe am not a big in our offense and defense but it's really don't matter how I feel or doesn't matter any of us feel we are not going make that decision what happens to Stotts this off season. He one more year on his contract you have solid defender coming back in Collins. Remember olshey is good salesman believe what just said that will be his sale pitch for keeping Stotts next year.
I stand corrected, still to be determined. He was a Hall of Good Player for sure and maybe someday will be?Jermaine is not a HOFer lol.
Oh yeah, if Stotts gets wins in the second round but we lose; the organization will probably just keep him... it will be a mistake and it will be unprecedented longevity in the face of mediocrity but they'll probably do it. If we don't beat these Nuggets, I think they'll have a press conference announcing him stepping down within two weeks of our last game. I do not think they'll extend him unless we somehow get to the WCF and win some games.Even better than 50/50 if he wins this series vs Denver and goes 6 or 7 games in the second round.
Stotts time here might not be done.
I'm not sure why some feel the need?....urge?....to gauge the optimal virtue of being a Blazer fan as 'speak-no-evil'. What seems pessimistic to one fan can be realistic to another. Just like optimism by one can look like homerism to another. There is no superior virtue in any of those cases, and there is no virtue at all in telling others they are bad fans. Too much of that is going on around here lately, IMO....of course, I like to speak evil
