Was anyone impressed with CJ’s play during the playoffs?

not me - made me feel just fine that he’s gone. Ant is a very different player and I think that he and Dame will prove to be league-leading
Better than the splash brothers II? Playing as the lead guard now, I think CJ will at least be in serious all star conversations next year.

Devin Booker
Chris Paul
Ja Morant
Luka Doncic
Jalen Brunson
Donovan Mitchell
Anthony Edwards
Stephen Curry
Klay Thompson
Dejonte Murray
De'Aaron Fox
Damian Lillard
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

all CJ has to do is beat out 9 of those guys for the spot

Murray if he is available, Duren if he is not. Sign Mo Bamba and Jalen Smith. Trade Nurk for OG.

Murray or Sochan. Stay away from centers because they take so long to develop and most of the time they don't. Take a center in the second round.

We need to add skill sets we don't currently have. Long forwards who can play defense and handle the ball would be welcome.

If Duren impresses that much, we could draft him and move up. A lot of teams are looking to add a defensive big man. If Duren jumps into the top 6, Keegan Murray or Sharpe can fall to the Blazers.

We do need big wings.

Murray or Eason are my picks. Sochan would be OK, but I see him being a Kyle Anderson level player.
Dalen Terry should be the pick for Round #2.

I like Dalen Terry and I thought about him at 36 as well. I don't really have a sense of where Orlando Robinson is going to go yet but if he is someone we can get to play backup 5... I'd get him. Basically we need both starting forward spots filled. Then we need a backup PG that is better than Williams, Terry fits the bill and a legit backup big and I think Robinson fits really well for but if we can't get him we can sign a backup big with the TPMLE or MLE should we have that much room under the tax.

I don’t believe that he will ever be Al All Star. Absolutely ZERO defense and can’t hit his free throws in the 4th quarter. CJ is simply not All Star caliber. Ant will be an All Star before CJ ever will be.

my opinion of course - I’m not a CJ hater by any means…but he’s never been “great.”

Sharpe - trade up to #4/5 using a future 1RP and Mil’s FRP

Darkhorse: Sochan

I like Duren but Sochan is a dynamic defensive player in his he mold of Herb Jones.

Why are people wanting to trade our second best piece and the only one that makes sense to build around long term? Horrible trade. Trade Nurk if you want to trade a core piece, Simons should be untouchable for less than an All-Star two way player. Have you guys already forgotten his stats after the break were better than Dame's rookie season (Simons same age) with more 30 point games in about 1/3 as many overall games. Trading Simons would be wildly, wildly stupid unless we are getting LeBron or some other All-star two way player that gives us a legit immediate shot at a title.
With Dame coming back I don't see Simons stats that high plus there Hart too going be on the court.

Unless something crazy comes out the top four appear to set in some sort of order. So essentially that means if even one player flies up the mocks after the combine and workouts then we have a shot at either Sharpe or Murray. For pick 7 that's not bad. I still think Duren will be the player everyone regrets no taking in a few years but I get the caution of taking him right now at 7.

Sochan Can’t shoot.
Yeah I don't think its just reps for him either. There's some weird shit going on at the top of his shot. Under 60 from the line.

He's still late lotto for me with his size, skill and feel though.
