Nassir Little measured 6.'4.5" w/o shoes and 6'6" w/ shoes and 8'8" standing reach. All the same as Mathurin (though Little has a 4" longer wingspan). That being said. I'm out on Mathurin. His defensive awareness was brutal in college. I don't see him as an answer for this team.

Other than mine, obviously, this is the best post in this thread

Little also weighed 20 pounds more then Mathurin, which is helpful if you're trying not to get steamrolled.

STOMP

Eh.... he's not three inches taller. He's like 1.5 inches taller without shoes.

Sorry, 2 inches. I thought he was 6'3.5 but he was 6'3 flat.

Edit - nope... I was right. Mathurin is 6'4.5 and Powell was 6'3. So 1.5 inches.
looks like you also saw the same table i did. glad you edited before you got accused by people for spreading "a wealth of misinformation" for an honest mistake.

Exactly. I don't get the love for him.

Steamrolling is an offensive foul.
Not when you play matador defense...

Can he?

Measured: 6’4.5” barefoot, 6’6.0” in shoes, 8’8.0” standing reach, 204.6 lbs, 6’9.0” wingspan at the 2022 NBA Draft Combine …

Most scouts rank him higher as a SG. I read somewhere that he preferred to play SG as well and felt that was the best position for him.

I sure hope we don't draft AJ. If we stay put I really hope we get either Keegan or Shaedon. If we trade back I like Duren or Sochan (depending how far we go back).
I kinda wonder if we don’t want to draft a guard for obvious reasons and the BPA at 7 is most likely gonna be a guard so we might as well trade back a few picks and take Duren or Sochan.

New Orleans picks 8th.
What happens if they take the player Portland wants?

Would hope Keegan falls to us at 7 but I think Sac will draft him.

What about DD at Point forward? He’s 6’7 with a 6’10 wingspan right? Send Mil pick/Keon/EB for Grant. That seems the most realistic route, and most unexciting.

Dame
Ant/Hart
Daniels/Winslow
Grant/Nas
Nurk

Daniels running point with Dame/Ant running around shooting 3s might be fun?

I think that would be the plan.
Making it easy for Nurk to score too. All he'd have to do is copy what Winslow was doing.

Unless the incentive for Detroit is to reduce as much salary as possible to be a player in free agency. Then the TPE is the bigger
asset.

I want to draft a guard if he's the best player available and has All Star potential. Can't think of a better team than the one with Damian Lillard, Anfernee Simons and Josh Hart for a guard to reach their potential in the NBA.

Daniels can be something between Tayshaun Prince and Nic Batum. Not as long as either but he’s a defensive minded playmaker with a high IQ on both ends.
