Lillie, what would we do without you? Thanks. Indians did what they had to........

...errands?...sorry Ma'am, but your everyday life tasks take a back seat to this message board...snap out of it and get your priorities straight !

I try my best. I hope they do even it up, I would like to have a long series. :bgrin:

...I may very well be a horse's ass but I'm not a "smart ass"... I know this because Mom had me tested.
Ron what is wrong with you today??? Why are you acting crazy, your starting to get like me. :biglaugh:

Jayson Stark detailed some ominous stats for the Cubs after losing game one. The previous nine time they have lost a game one in a best of seven series they have lost. Teams in general who have lost game one of the World Series have lost 24 of the last 28 times.

...granted that winning game 1 does give that team an advantage. Game 5 always seems to be the pivotal game to me.

...but out of all 108 WS played, the loser of game 1 has come back to win 40 of them...so Jayson's smaller sample size was likely used just to fit his narrative.

...just sayin'.

...1996 Yanx lost the first 2 WS games at home and came back to win the next 4...and I don't even want to bring up 2004. :bgrin:

Looks like the Cubs are going to take this one. Arrieta is sharp tonight as the Cubbies are up 5-0 in the 6th.

Arrieta no hitting Indians......payback sucks big time!

I think even if I was an Indians fan I would say enough with the damn drum. To me it's one of the most annoying things in all of sports.

Beating of the drum was all the excitement that could arouse the Cleveland fans
tonight. Series even 1-1

^^^^maybe the Cubs win the next three games at home so we do not have to hear the
beating of that drum! lol

I hope so. Honestly I find it completely ridiculous. As a fan being there I can't see how you could sit there listening to a pounding drum all game long. I can't even imagine seating near it in the outfield.

Gotta' agree with ya' Vic, nothing, NOTHING, is more frustrating, than not being able to concentrate on a game, due to a flippin' fkng bang of a drum, shit they could at least find an unemployed Sioux Indian and give 'em a job, but in the parking lot-

One thing I found so fkng idiotic, (as is the norm for putting up with fair weathered so cal fans), that fkng rally monkey kept me from going to Anaheim for years. I swear if I see a monkey walking the streets, he's dead-

NOW THAT IS UNBELIEVABLY MORONIC, AND NERVE WRACKING....Who the fk ever thought of such shit, as crazy why do so many peeps fall for it, maybe they're already distracted from the game, so they gotta' distract others????

...complete momentum shift...now a best of 5 Series with the Cubs getting 3 games at home.

...wish we could have gotten that Miller for Schwarber deal done.
