The Portland Police Bureau asked the public's help today in finding three men who stole a cell phone from a passenger on a MAX train in March and then attacked him.

The incident happened about 3:13 p.m. on March 22 on the MAX Yellow Line heading south between North Mississippi and the Rose Quarter stops. One of the men said he had a gun and demanded the man’s cell phone and then, with the two other suspects, attacked him.

THIS WOULD NEVER HAPPEN IN BEAVERTON, FAMS.

I wouldn't try to take on three guys, especially if they said they had a gun. I might try to follow them with a cell phone and the police on the other line.
 
I would probably slowly follow them out, follow at a slow distance trying to make out where they were headed. I would then make a mental note what they were wearing and then use my cell phone behind a building and make the call but keep an eye on them.

I'm really surprised that the two women didn't do anything. They could have at least tried to voice out their opinion on the matter.

I can't believe the other big black guy didn't do anything on the far right.

There's a $1000 reward on this case.

Like on the street, when I first saw the black youths, I quickly would have crossed to the other side of the Max train. Also, when someone who cries out how it's unfair to profile, please take a look at this video.


As for the OP's question, I would not have because as the video showed, there were kids there. Before I read his comments, I thought of exactly what Nate posted. I would have followed them and called the police. Then again if it were here in Texas, I would have had a gun on me, and I would have just enjoyed shooting the three of them.

It's the same way when I see a white guy in a old car or van in a neighborhood. To me, they are a child molester until proven otherwise. It's sad, but that's how my brain works.

Looking at this video. They should put video cameras on both ends of the traincar.

Actually, this particular video is the best evidence that black people will beat you up because they did in this video.


As for racist? Probably. I think everyone on the planet is to some extent. People who say they aren't are probably some of the worst. I live in the south, so that probably makes me more so. It's an entirely differnet world down here when it comes to race. I don't really take pride in it though. I take pride in hating people who harm others though. I'd like to put a bullet into each and every one of them. Or most of them anyway.

Looks like some school yard bully shit to me. I couldn't make out the passenger who actually got robbed, but the time of day it took place and the age of those robbers looks like high school just got out and they jumped a classmate?

If I heard one of them say he had a gun I'm getting out the door and calling 911.
