OT OKC gets a big

from WoJ on twitter

Man OKC got a legit big. :(

OKC just got a lot tougher. Nice to see a GM that uses an asset to fill a team deficiency.

OT: Jeff Green to C's for Kendrick Perkins

Wow, another one out of no where! This actually is a good deal that benefits both teams.

Re: OT OKC gets a big

Someone beat me to it

Good deal for OKC

Obviously Cho didn't learn much from Presti

OKC finally gets a good Big guy. Suddenly I don't want to play them in the first round lol. I think this actually makes them a contender we'll see.

losing greens shooting hurts

Nah, not really. Harden is more than adequate to fill his shoes and what this really does is pave the way for Ibaka to be their full-time starter at PF and he's vasty superior to Green when it comes to rebounding, defense, and contesting shots ... plus he's got pretty good range on his J too.

Thunder are going to be damn good for a while now that they have some real beef down low.

So when they were trying to get Camby from us the offer was probably similar. Just a guess.

Dang, nice deal for Thunder.

Re: OT: Jeff Green to C's for Kendrick Perkins

Can we merge all these OKC/BOS threads?

It's amazing the value your players have when they're healthy.

Perkins just got to stay healthy... with injuries to both knees now, and it'd be a good deal for OKC.

OKC is gonna roll out:

PG: Russel Westbrook
SG: James Harden
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Serge Ibaka
C: Kendrick Perkins

That's pretty damn impressive.

def a good deal for OKC.

do they not start Sefolosha (sp?) anymore? I hope Batum can be as good as him someday

Kendrick Perkins has knees issues, will be an unrestricted free agent, and had a career-high PER of 15 last season.

He was fine being the 5th or 6th best player on Boston. I don't think he'll be nearly as good as the 3rd-best player on OKC, and there is no guarantee that he'll resign with OKC.

I don't understand this trade.

They could definitely, I'd just roll out with that lineup lol

If they wanted to keep some good bench scoring, then yeah they should start Sefolosha, and bring Harden off the bench with Maynor, Collison, and Krstic.

Oklahoma City has acquired center Nazr Mohammed from Charlotte for D.J. White and Mo Peterson, source tells Y! Sports.
