RHP - Chase Whitley, (1-0 1.80 ERA)

VS.

RHP - R.A. Dickey, (0-3 5.23 ERA)

NOTES: Brian McCann has struggled against Dickey in his career hitting just 188 (6 for 32) with only one RBI so expect to see Murphy in there tonight.

Lineups to follow.

Whitley scares me.
But just like Drew and /or Gregorius.....they can either pitch or hit well enough or the Yanks WILL call up maybe Mitchell to replace Whitley and move in someone else to play 2b.....

My guess is, as long as Gregorius can show signs of improvement with his hitting moving towards the .230-.240 mark, and doesn't become erratic defensively.....he isn't going "anywhere".

Pirela has gotten a clean bill of health so depending on how Petit goes, Pirela could be the next call up.

I pulled hard for Whitley last year and he fell off of the horse. Want to see him succeed along with the other youngsters so the Yankees can put CC elsewhere.

Okay, Girardi had to be fucking stoned when he was filling out this lineup. Either that or he just felt like throwing a game..........

Cf - Ellsbury (351)
LF - Gardner (320)
DH - Rodriquez (241)
RF - Beltran (batting cleanup with a 197 average)
2B - Drew (lets get more at bats for a 155 hitter)
3B - Headley (242)
1B - Jones (167)
C - Murphy (263)
SS - Gregorius (222)

Awwww.....HanRam pulled his vagina running into the wall, out of the game. Time to tie dye the do.

Ezequiel? Wtf kind of ebonic spelling is that?

I'm not so SURE. LOL I don't know WHY you act like you are THROWING IN THE TOWEL so EARLY. LOL

IF Ellsbury can keep his BA above .350 ALL year, and IF Gardner can do the same I think ARod COULD hit 50 HRs and it will be ok if Tex hits below .200 IF he can hit 60 HRs. LOL

Those guys will offset Drew, Gregorius, Jones, Beltran and some others batting .200. This offense will be ok IMHO. I think Betances and Miller can also sustain their current numbers and will finish the year with ERAs of 0.00. LOL Between them and the rest of the BP they will overcome the starters inability to go 6 innings. I HAVE SAID MY PIECE. LOL

Can we Indian give DiDi back and get Greene back?

Don't tell ME that YOU were one of the CHOSEN ONES that were ready to crown Greene with the CY YOUNG award after his 1st 2 STARTS? LOL LOL LOL

If if if if......., no, I picked the Yanks to win APPROX 90 games BEFORE spring training began...
And the OTHER teams don't have any "ifs"? comedian.
Don't go away mad, just go away.

So, I guess you can pack up your tent until the Yanks are close to losing another 70 or so games? Isn't that YOU?

So be it.....let it roll!

Lmao

Come on get Whitley some runs. Everyone else has hit Dickey so far this year.

English please...do you even know what you're talking about?

Cherry pick THIS ➡ Yanks in FIRST PLACE, here and NOW.

I think this is clear and succinct.
Get back to me with a REAL cherry "stat". Lmao

...I leave the cherry picking to you...it's what you do...and you do it so feebly.

The pen was unfortunately due to blow one.

gardner, pitch a tent on that fly ball? girardi giving tex the nite off?

Losses suck, Whitley pitched a nice game against a potent lineup, we'll hope he keeps going forward in a positive manner.

Part of this loss has to fall on Girardi. You put this kid (Whitley) out there with that kind of lineup & expect a win. After the top 2 batters a minor league team could have beaten these guys. The kid deserved a better chance then what Girardi gave him.

Welp, that was your basic "tough loss".

Great job by Whitley.
My question, why didn't Girardi start the 8th with Betances or AT LEAST get Martin out of there as soon as he allowed a base runner?
Betances did not pitch yesterday ..... I know Girardi is rightfully trying to lessen the work load of Betances, but I would've went to Betances as soon as Martin allowed a base runner.

Oh well, maybe Joe was looking for a DP ball from Martin.

Toronto better score ALOT of runs this year.....ALOT.
Back to "two out of three" mode.
