In his last 8 games Ackley is 8 for 17 with 2 home runs, a double & a triple, moving ahead of my favorite player Drew:rotfl:as the regular 2nd baseman.

CF - Ellsbury
LF - Gardner
DH - Rodriquez
C - McCann
RF - Beltran
3B - Headley
1B - Bird
SS - Gregorius
2B - Ackley

Rick, shhhhhhhhh. We don't want girardi to hear you. As your insinuating the kid should be in the lineup at 2nd every day. Yanks need minimum 2 of 3 but if they sweep I would forgive them. LOL
 
Just hoping Warren gets back his starting mojo before
management decided to put him in the pen.
Oh and can this team make Price pay just once.
 
The Yankees have knocked price around in the past, time to do it again. Last night Joes Gas cans were OK, they need to stay that way throughout this series, yeah and keep Ackley in there, the man has surprised us some.
 
No negative bullshit. They need to win this one.
 
Be cool for the Yankees if Ackleys impacted this team for the season remainder as Doyle did in the '78 series.
 
Team needs to mash....this is the serious to show they are serious about post season. Otherwise it's all been a tease.
 
Hopefully they get some runs early. Don't let Price settle into the game. We owe him an ass kicking.

would like him to be , kinda reminds me a little of the 2b the angels had.. what was his name? hit some big HR;s during the PS vs i forget, dude kinda fell off a cliff a year or 2 later

Great Warren. Couldn't even let the game settle in before being down 3-0 and counting. What a shame.
 
They simply couldn't afford to spot Price three first inning runs. Now he gets to do whatever he wants out there. Bad job by Warren as the injury to Eovoldi rears its ugly head.
 
Its beginning to look like going back to the bull pen after being an effective starter has really screwed Warren up.

Oh well, thank God for Monday night football.
 
Based loaded and one out with Arod coming to the plate. They really need to take advantage of this opportunity.

Headley = 143 games, 534 ABs, 27 2B, 1 3B, 11 HRs, 61 RBI & 264 BA Salary = $13M per
Solarte, = 141 games, 494 ABs, 31 2B, 4 3B, 13 HRs, 59 RBI & 271 BA Salary = about 1/2M per
 
Blown opportunity. That's the difference between Toronto and New York. Their big hitters make you pay.
 
i really dont get this game anymore, 6 lefties in line up vs 1 on the best lefties in game.... headley , this guy should donate his pay to charity cause he could give a shite about workin at 3rd..... arod. loved the AB, but you're paid to get runs across the plate got to put bat on ball..... that was the inning to get price!
 
So much for making Price work, he threw only 9 pitches in the 2nd & now only 9 more for the 4th. Beltran has seen 3 pitches total in his two at bats. Make him work a little guys.
 
They had their chance to get to Price in the third. It's like I said you have to get to guys like this early when given the chance. Now he's going to roll.
