And here's the kicker, Crapuano is off the hook.

Well hopefully we won't have to use Betances because Joe is trying to rest the rotation & Betances is part of the.....wait no, I'm sorry Betances isn't part of the rotation. I just thought the reason Joe went with Crapuano was so he didn't have to use Betances because he had absolutely nothing to do with this. And Warren would go & I thunk maybe if Tom Seaver could just &%#(^@:breakdance::hairout::smiley-lol_hitting::smiley-loony:

Must have been something I've read.

Nah, not quite.....Betances will not be available tonight since....oh...lemme think...oh yeah, he HASN'T been used three consecutive days all season and the MGR, thinking like a MGR, and not an impulsive fan would prefer to hold Warren back in case he needs late inning relief help, like 8th inning relief help in the event it's a close game.

He may, if the situation calls for it, use Warren for the 7th and 8th inning....he's rested since he wasn't used out of his routine as a (current) reliever.

11-5 as Didi sends them all home with a triple and Ryan doubles.

And the hits just keep on coming. Everybody is involved in this one.

Unreal, 11 runs, no homers, now pitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy shit. What do do did Joe step in? And the
Crapman is off the hook. Really?

You can't hide all this shit all the time........

The Yankee offense is really coming on as a whole. Besides the top guys Headley is on fire and Didi is hitting very well.

Well we didn't start Warren because he pitched recently & he needs to be rested but now that the Yankees have the lead maybe Warren who couldn't start because he just pitched could now pitch in the 7th or 8th inning because his breathing will be better if & I just thought maybe with some milk & cookies that we could....:blahblah::blahblah::breakdance::hairout::smiley-bonk:

I'm sorry, it must have been something I read.

Don't know who this Moreno guy is but good job thus far keep it up. And offense don't let up!

if this is what it takes to ignite the offense compuano should be in rotation......lol i just took my second hit of acid

Here we go again, 1st & 3rd with nobody out. This game is not going to be over until midnight.

Give it up...Capuano got the start because Warren is more valuable in the later innings which the Yanks may need help in the event it's a close game and Betances isn't available......I think you know Warren is a late inning reliever and this may be shocking news to you but maybe (obviously) the Yanks would prefer NOT to take him out of his routine by STARTING HIM TONIGHT and it's not shocking that Capuano got rocked and knocked out early and the Yanks/Girardi are still committed tonight to giving the extra day rest to the SP rotation and will piece meal the rest of the game if they have to.

Baseball is a great game....and Warren MAY NOT even be needed tonight.
Looks like you're kinda barking when no one is there.
Easy.....cool out.

Let's drop it....shall we? Yankee lineup making a big statement tonight and Warren is still available for tonight! You were beating your chest when Capuano got knocked out in the first but the Yankee lineup showed up.
Feel better?

Hey I'd bet even Drew could probably get a few hits this game.

Hard to believe that the Yankees were in a 4 run deficit.......................or was it a 5 run deficit.

:bored::moresleep:

Chris Young Grand Slam!!!! 15-5.

Utterly Incredible.......this Yanx offense of late, can beat about anyone, its becoming clear(er); now if the Team had lights out Pitching,.....

no doubt this Team can compete with about any other Team, but can they keep the Offensive Bats Hot..........!!!

Why am I not surprised.

Why am I not surprised.

imo, he happens to be right, i think we would all agree warren earned a spot in rotation , but thats not how it works in bigs.

a tough decision had to be made no doubt, he is a reliver now, and that is his job, and thats how it works.

Frankly it's over and done with. They then scored 16 unanswered runs. I don't see the need to dwell on Crapuano.

No he's not (no surprise) Yes Warren is NOW a reliever but he was also a proven starter. Crapuano on the other hand is also a reliever who has NOT been effective as a starter. Its simple math. Did you really ever play this game?

DiDi must be batting .280(?) or so over his last 45 games.
And earlier in the season we would've been "satisfied" (rightfully so) if he hit .235-.240 but I just keep in mind, this is his still hisndirst full season being an everyday starting SS......kinda exciting.

91 games doesn't make a season but the closest thing he had to a full season was 2013 when he had 357 AB, 103 G and put these numbers up:
BA.252.
OBP .332
SLG%.373
OPS.704
Not bad.

He can go up or down with more playing time and experience but to me he looks like he just might get better. And I still expect him to hit with a bit more power.
He's got size 6' 2", 200 lbs and doesn't get cheated in his swings.

I really want to say, as premature as it may sound, I think the Yanks may have acquired a SS who could turn into one of the better young SS in the league in a year or two or possibly by the end of this season.
Lol, I really feel uncomfortable making such bold expectations for a player who never had more than 357 ABs in a season but its a general feeling and instinct I get watching this kid play....and he has also significantly reduced his errors from the first couple of months.

Funny, just as I'm completing this the announcer said Didi was hitting .206 in late May.
