Very disappointed in Nova since his return, I was both hoping & expected more.

The line is on Boston this evening, given Novas recent history I'd say the pitching matchup favors the Bostons. Nova will have to wake up, stay afloat, and hope the offense does not do a 180. Meanwhile out friends in Toronto face a tough pitcher in Salazar but Price is going for the Jays. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only thing I'll say in novas defense rick is that even though some guys come back strong the first year (harvey for instance although I think he had an extra 6 months to recover from the surgery) most pitchers come back stronger the second year when they are more recovered from the TJ surgery.

I'm watching the Jays game for a couple of innings tonight and I am going to give Joey Bats and his crew the stink eye...... I'll try anything. lol

Teixeira (shin) has been sent back to NY to undergo more tests and has been ruled out of the series versus the Red Sox as per Sweeny Murti.

I would bet they end up finding a small fracture. That's what these deep bone bruises that never heal always end up being.

I agree Tom, Bird needs to make his mark (no pun intended). I'm hoping Teixeira's year is not done.

And remember, after yesterday's 20 run outburst, the over/under is 3 for tonight. I want to be wrong but I'm guessing under.
