It's not a case of a half full/empty glass, Cashman put the glasses away and removed a couple of cards from the deck which were obviously not jokers. Lets hope that last nights shameful performance is not repeated. This group looked like a bunch of whipped dogs uttering mea culpas aplenty.

...not winning 2 of 3 from Boston would be embarrassing.

I agree Ron... Are you still fighting with the peanut gallery on the other board. I checked out last night to listen to some videos that Tom posted...lol

...not a fight really, batting practice is more like it...I mean, I would have to be confronted with some legitimate competition for it to be considered a true fight.

I thought the roster expands to 40. 25 + 8 only equals 33. Who are the other 7

The Yankees only called up 8 players as per Michael Kay. Don't ask me Rick ask Cashman...Lmao.

...so now the Yanx have 4 2Bmen?...lmao, Cashman is on top of things.

...Cashman calls up Rico Noel (he's batting .059 at SWB) but he says he won't call up Judge?... again, you can't make this shit up.

Cashman is an impudent POS. No logic to his moves,
not to mention his 'ambigious' plan! Calling up an .059 hitter!
That'll get the job done. lmao

BTW......I cannot stand the length of these marathons
between these 2 hated rivals! I do not know how you feel about
it, but for me, it sucks big time.......what ever happened to
the rule to 'hurry up the game'...These 2 teams seem to be
absolved FROM THE RULE! a f'kin joke.

HI...I'm Ron's other personality Totus....I often agree with myself but occasionally argue with myself about Pete Rose/HOA and legalizing/normalizing PEDs based on player T-levels.

oh and Ron...time to admit that you actually owe yourself the giant bag of cheetos.

I don't have an issue with Judge staying where he is right now. If he comes up I don't know where you're playing him. At least Bird serves a purpose and is getting everyday playing time. That being said we're also seeing the growing pains of playing a young player like Bird everyday.

You know when and how people start talking about that "Vote of Confidence" thing, I expect a story spun in either the Post or the Daily News by ownership soon stating what a great job Cashman has been doing. And then, I will just lose my shit. This circle jerk of a GM has ruined to many years for me. This team had exceeded expectations by the beginning of August. Anyone with a gas tank in their car would have to know that Arod's and Tex's tanks must be getting low. But no, we brought up Greg Bird who I think will be a great player for the Yankees personally someday, just not today. Last night pretty much summed up the character of this team, bases loaded how many times and not to cash in. Runner on third with less than 2 outs and get called out on strikes regardless of how bad the umpire was. And then the ultimate humiliation to all Yankee fans, Big Piece of Shit jacks one and at that moment is when I see the image of Ryan Duran, Bob Gibson, Don Drysdale and I wonder what Ortiz would sound like with air leaking out of his lungs because finally someone on the mound had enough balls to take him out.

Nobody goes in on Ortiz. It's completely mind boggling. The Mets pitchers let him tee off on them as well.

...well, where are all these other youngsters gonna play?...4 freaking 2Bmen?...seriously?

...and please justify ti me why Judge should not be called up but Rico fucking Noel should. (again he's batting .059 at SWB)

...sorry, just venting.

...I hate it when you do this...I mean, I can't post as you and 59 at the same time...and oh, I have some Chee-tos coupons ! WOOOOO HOOOO !

I hear you but he plays CF so serves a purpose in that regard I guess. Ryan could and should be sent packing. He's more of an automatic out than anyone right now. I'm not sticking up for Drew but at least he's coming off his best month of the season and hasn't been completely hideous.

I agree that someone needs to put Ortiz on his ass. Just enough to back him off the plate.

...Noel probably won't even see any ABs...and he was not brought up for his bat (he's 5 for 50 this year) or the fact that he play's CF...he was brought up as a pinch runner.

^^^^^ sorry, 59? Nonsense. Just let it go. Nothing has
stopped you from venting before. Besides, you make
a case for Cashman not having a full deck.

Ryne Duren, that guy was flat out scary. Drysdale, had no problems drilling someone if the y took too much of the plate. One issue I have with Girardi is that he maintains Torres old gentleman rules. That Home run total that Big Sloppi has against Yankee pitching is totally Gross. Dusting guys like Bautista, Longoria, and Big Sloppi will keep them honest and make them cry. I don't advocate head hunting, just a good dust off to keep them honest. Saw Bird do mea culpas on River Avenue Blues video saying he had to do better but a rook is a rook, glad to see him up though hope he'll make some quick adjustments.

Brush back Ortiz? I want to see those chin whiskers
shake his ass to the ground. I bet he'd have a tough
time getting up. I want to see this just once.......

Good- They should put Pirela at 2b and leave him there for awhile.
Was batting .330 at AAA with OPS over .800.
He deserves a shot at replacing a .200 hitter as much as any other player from their minor leagues.

Hit over .300 there last year as well which makes it seem like a great decision to deal with Drew and Ryan for so long.
