Five of six struck out, going to be a long night up there, and Toronto is up on Cleveland 1-0. Pineda better pitch his ass off.

...Cashman calls up Rico Noel (he's batting .059 at SWB) but he says he won't call up Judge?... again, you can't make this shit up.
You know when and how people start talking about that "Vote of Confidence" thing, (1)** I expect a story spun in either the Post or the Daily News by ownership soon stating what a great job Cashman has been doing. And then, I will just lose my shit. This circle jerk of a GM has ruined to many years for me. This team had exceeded expectations by the beginning of August. (2*) Anyone with a gas tank in their car would have to know that Arod's and Tex's tanks must be getting low. But no, we brought up Greg Bird who I think will be a great player for the Yankees personally someday, just not today. Last night pretty much summed up the character of this team, bases loaded how many times and not to cash in. Runner on third with less than 2 outs and get called out on strikes regardless of how bad the umpire was. And then the ultimate humiliation to all Yankee fans, Big Piece of Shit jacks one and at that moment is when I see the image of (3*) -Ryan Duran, Bob Gibson, Don Drysdale and I wonder what Ortiz would sound like with air leaking out of his lungs because finally someone on the mound had enough balls to take him out.
Nobody goes in on Ortiz. It's completely mind boggling. The Mets pitchers let him tee off on them as well.
Ryne Duren, that guy was flat out scary. Drysdale, had no problems drilling someone if the y took too much of the plate. One issue I have with Girardi is that he maintains Torres old gentleman rules. That Home run total that Big Sloppi has against Yankee pitching is totally Gross. Dusting guys like Bautista, Longoria, and Big Sloppi will keep them honest and make them cry. I don't advocate head hunting, just a good dust off to keep them honest. Saw Bird do mea culpas on River Avenue Blues video saying he had to do better but a rook is a rook, glad to see him up though hope he'll make some quick adjustments.
I'd give Shrek NO respect......
Too bad we can't recall Dock Ellis, the 3 Hitter comes to mind, not a game in which he gave up but 3 hits, but the one where he swore he was going to (literally), mow each batter down........

I understand, its not proper to throw at anyone's head, let alone advocate such,
so, I'll advocate for ya' if you don't mind.......
Will someone please throw Shrek some Chin Music, and not stop until he lays in the dirt crying for Mama?........., like a Silver Back is squeezing His balls.........on 2nd thought, Ortiz has no balls, they shrank......
At least back him off the plate from time to time.
And ROB, did you get my PM?

Maybe you are the ghost of Ron....lolHI...I'm Ron's other personality Totus....I often agree with myself but occasionally argue with myself about Pete Rose/HOA and legalizing/normalizing PEDs based on player T-levels.
Stephen f'n Drew. What has gotten into this guy? Two run double makes it 2-0.
I agree Rick but like Vic said let it play out this year. He did give us the lead after all.I don't care if the guy hits 400 for the rest of the season I do not want to see him in pinstripes again next season.

Oh don't get me wrong guys I'm glad he's finally contributing but IMO to little to late.
Agreed. He's just about automatic at second base so since he's hitting at this current clip I can deal with him.
...Bird, struggling big time.
watching , not close enough, how many pitches did pineda have?
He's a young kid that is being thrown into the fire. Pennant race coupled with Tex being out for what could be the rest of the way. Might have to deal with McCann at first a couple of days just to give Bird a mental breather.
...because the BP has been better than the SP all year.92, see, thats why i go crazy, i know he's been back only a short time, buy why tax the BP ...
