Good start by Tanaka, 3 surprising innings of relief by Cessa. Couple of train moving small ball innings with a couple of bombs to tack on some extra runs. Haven't seen a Yankee game like this in a while. Lets hope they can keep it up!!!!!!!

Tanaka has pitched 20 consecutive scoreless innings. I’d say he’s prime for the wild card game.

Theoretically...the AL could have 7 teams win 90 or more games.The Rays are the furthest from that win total but all they have to do is go 10-5 the rest of the season. Seems doable. The Mariners would have to go 9-6, the Indians would have to go 8-7

We already have the Red Sox 101, yankees 91, A's 90, Astros 92 eclipsing that mark. If we got to 7, that has to be a record.
