Lineups to follow...

New York National, kick their asses. Cashman stay on that phone today and accomplish something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gardner -LF
Ellsbury -CF
Teixeira -1B
McCann -C
Gregorious -SS
Castro -2B
Headley -3B
Refsnyder -RF
Sabathia -P

Cashman will always be Trashman to me. He's being lauded as a terrific GM in baseball circles........
for the huge haul he's gotten for the Yankees' future. If he and his scouts had drafted responsibly,
and not handed out enormous contracts, Yankee fortune would not be flailing as it is today.

First four batters, who I personally would have shipped out, will tell if this team can get some hitting
against Mets' pitching.

Ellsbury an Headley are two that probably won't move because of their bad contracts, huge salaries, false pretenses. A-rodham needs to be dropped. If they let Tex hang around have him work with Ref on 1st base D. Too bad Parmalee went down he may have worked out. As a position player Mc Cann was the one I overall most respected. If he's dealt I'd have to say I'd miis him akin to Beltran and Miller wish then all the best. They set good examples for the "other" team members.

...^^^been saying this for awhile now. The only reason Cashman is having to desperately make these moves now is to attempt to undo his mistakes of the past.

...yet he's somehow lauded for that?...unfuckingbelievable.

Brett, Brett, Brett, %%^*%(&^)(&(^&^&*^&^^%&%^*)*&)(()!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Smart move - attempting an inside the park HR to leadoff the game.
Brilliant.

And the sad part is if he actually hustled out of the box instead of admiring his blast to center and picking it up a third of the way to 2nd he probably gets it easy.

Should we "laud" him if he didn't do anything?

I have a better idea---> since this team was one big Cashman mistake, and now he (and ownership) have decided to make a couple of moves which has transformed the system into one of the best and deepest currently with 5 prospects amoung the top 40 and 7 from the top 100, you should recuse yourself from further commentary on the fortunes of the team going forward from this point.

Fair enough? Of course it is!

Some news regarding a couple of Yankee farmhands who were scouted and drafted by the Yankees.
Ben Gamel- outfield, .300 BA .769 OPS, 17 SB at AAA is now with the Yankees. May see him tomorrow.

Tyler Austin .316 BA 1.071 OPS at AAA has been working out at 1st base and could be called up next week.

Gary Sanchez C , .285 BA .813 OPS, 10 HRs 50 RBI in 70 games at AAA will be called up very soon.

Aaron Judge RF, will be called up to play RF as soon as he gets a couple of rehab games under his belt...maybe a week or two.

And Severino will probably take Nova's spot.

Looks like the plan is alive and well.

...atta boy Tex, keep trying to stubbornly pull that outside pitch with the shift on and a man in scoring position....what a team player.

I can't take Headley any longer.
He sucks.
And the dopey look on his face after he strikes out.

Yanks are still looking for that leadoff triple in the first inning.
Oops, forgot- they did get it....and it was tagged out at home.
Dummasses!
Got that feeling Warren isn't going to survive the bottom 9th.

...............and when they make the parent team and produce, then you can flaunt as you usually do.

Well, well, well .........finally we see a New York Yankee place down a perfect sacrifice bunt.
Ben Gamel.........welcome to the Yankees.

Good job by Warren. Dangerous 9th Inn.
His stuff is crisp. Lively fastball, sharp breaking ball.
Welcome home.

...well it's about time, Tex...took you long enough.

...first game I've enjoyed for awhile...Yanx have this one in the bag...Betances will close it out.

Sac fly by Castro- he gave it a ride. Yanks up 6-5....insurance run would be nice.
Headley up - ugh....flies out to end inning and strands a runner on 2nd base.

Something has to be done about him....this Yankee team just can't afford to carry a light hitting 3bman.

Now we see how life is with Betances as the closer.

Betances made it nerve-racking, but he showed his worth as a closer.

Got a chuckle out of Cashmans reaction to Gregorius getting that base hit. That's the most emotion I've ever seen him display. Nice to see Granderson end this game for New York National as he ended games when he was a Yankee. W-H-I-F-F.

When all else has failed I'll be happy to see them throw a wrench into the Mets plans.

I cracker up when A-rodham was called back and Gamel successfully did his job at the plate. Liked that kid when he was up before. Difference now is that we'll see these kids get a chance to play ball instead taking a back seat to non-productive butt heads.
