Garcia vs. Bundy

Lineups to follow...

Tough assignment, take it one game at a time, glad to see Jmo get the start over Garcia. Baltimore has got some mashers but with the Yankees with their people back can mash as well.

Is anyone having a cookout today???

This summer went too quick. My one daughter went swimming with friends and my wife is taking my older daughter to her friend's house to swim. I'll watch the game in peace.

My Husband had to go to work today so I get to watch the Game in peace too.

Gardner -LF
Headley -DH
Castro -2B
Gregorious -SS
Judge -RF
Bird -1B
Frazier -3B
Ellsbury -CF
Romine -C

...while he's hot, Ellsbury should be moved up to batting leadoff or batting 2nd.

Sanchez had his suspension reduced to three games and will miss the Baltimore series as he serves it.

...oh hell yeah....pork loin and a boneless deer ham from last year's kill...I bled it out real well, deboned it, loaded it up with garlic, kosher salt, cracked pepper, then laid a piece of bacon inside it, then rolled it up before I even froze it back in December ...thawed it yesterday and wrapped applewood smoked bacon around it.

...fresh zipper peas with okra (grown in my garden) and thrown on top of the peas during the last 15 minutes of cooking...made from scratch macaroni and cheese (4 cups of sharp cheddar mixed in with 2 more cups of mild cheddar on top) (love it extra cheesy)....and of course my special recipe cracklin' bread !

...and yes, of course, there will be beer and/or wine involved.

I'm on my way.

...well, at least that's better than the original suspension...and yeah, I suppose now is as good a time as any to get it out of the way...the other guys will have to pick up the slack on offense.

...what about Romine?...was his suspension reduced/lifted?...and have the Yanx called up another catcher? ( I know I could look this stuff up myself but well, you know.

I'll try to find out Ron.

Girardi said Miguel Andujar will be a September call up as per Bryan Hoch.

Didn't hear on Romine. I'd imagine he gets one game.

Sanchez on suspension with the other folks coming back won't be all that bad. The Yankees did acquire a catcher from the Cleveland system to fill in. The individuals name is Eric Kratz!

Looking at the Yankee Roster I see 37 year old Eric Kratz listed as Catcher # 3.

Monty throwing slop up there. Didn't need didi's error for the extra run

Here we go again, just when the boys take a couple forward they start taking a step back. Jmo is not ahead of the hitters thus far.

Joe you better have a short leash on this one today.

Still for the life of me why yanks don't give chance adams a chance up here who has been dominant in triple A as opposed to some of the slop they've been putting on the mound

And if holliday is back to pre virus holliday he needs to get every dh at bat going forward and put headley at 3rd and frazier on the bench

And for god's sake when does baseball stop sending teams on the road (in this case the yanks) for an afternoon game after a late night game at home. Very unfair to the traveling team on short rest. This should have been a night game
